Instead of accessing the battery directly every time you need power, this OptiMate O-46 panel-mount socket lets you install a dedicated 12V connection point on your truck, trailer, RV, or other equipment. The Ø21 mm (13/16") socket uses locking blades that latch onto a compatible plug to maintain a secure, vibration-resistant connection. The fused battery lead includes a 15A fuse to help protect your wiring and electronics, and the ring terminals are adaptable from M6 (1/4") to M8 (5/16") for flexible installation. A sealing cap and -40F / -40C rating make it suitable for long-term outdoor use.

So folks, if you need a reliable 12 volt power outlet for your RV, camper, trailer, maybe power sport rigs, this is a great option for you. It's what they used to call a cigarette lighter outlet from way back in the day, right And it's a simple, clean, durable solution. And this panel mount socket does have a nice cover over it. It's gonna give you a permanent look and outlet that you can use and be installed pretty much anywhere with the included hardware.
It's got inline fuse, a nice length of wire, and some ring terminals here, positive and negative, clearly marked for mounting it to the battery to get that 12 volts of power. So whether you're using it for tire inflators, air pumps, portable coolers, chargers, USB adapters and whatnot, this is a great option for you and it's rugged design is very strong and it's gonna keep water and moisture out and it's gonna be a great option.
