  • How to Ground Lights When Re-Wiring Aluminum Frame Snowmobile Trailer
Although it may not be absolutely necessary, aluminum does not conduct well so running the ground wire to your aluminum frame is not recommended. Instead, you can use # DW02359-1 to run individual ground wires for each light up to your main ground wire at the tongue of your trailer. This will keep everything working properly and prevent the wide range of issues a bad ground can cause.

  • How Much of Each Gauge of Wire Fit Inside a Wire Loom Comfortably
I would certainly recommend the 1/2-inch wire loom # 459075-1. It will hold two jacketed 2 wire 10-gauge wire and three jacketed 2 wire 12-gauge wire. See pictures to the right. In addition, I was able to fit comfortably eleven individual 16-gauge wire # DW02359-1 into the 1/2-inch wire loom. I also took a digital caliper to measure the exact radius of each type of wire: 10-gauge is .17 of an inch, 12-gauge is .14 of an inch and 16-gauge is .09 of an inch. The 10, 12 and 16-gauge wiring...

  • Vent Fan with Dual Switches for a 2008 Winnebago Journey
From the description you provided it sounds like you are looking for the Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent w/12V Fan # V2119-3-533. This vent fan has the two sperate switches like you described. I have included a photo of the switches you can look at to see if it looks like what you have. We also have this available in white # V2119-1-533. If this is not what you are looking for and you can provide me with the manufacturer and model number of your current fan, I would be happy to help you further.

You can utilize a power wall remote switch # VC0533-03-A or # VC0533-02-A (black or white). A rocker switch # BL0108-00 will work and you will need 2 of them. The installation kit # 344270KITW will come with screws, tape, and sealant. You will also need primary 16 gauge wire # DW02359-1 as well as a ceiling garnish # VA0445-35 I have attached a picture of wiring instructions for you as well. • How to Connect a Surge Brake Actuator to Activate the Reverse Lockout Function
There are 2 wires that are coming out of the actuator in the Titan Disc Brake Kit # T4843300. You will want to connect one to the 5-Pole connector on your trailer and ground the other one using a Ring Terminal # DW05737-1; it doesn't matter which wire is used for which purpose. If you only have a 4-Pole connector on your trailer then I recommend using the Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM47910 instead. You will want to cut off your current 4-Pole and use Butt Connectors...

The 20 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness - Wishbone Style - 30" Ground # A20WB simply has two wires that connect to the running light pin of the 4-way. There isn't a 5 wire we carry in spools or by the foot, but we do carry the Bonded 4 Wire - per foot # 16-4B-1 and then you can add Primary Wire - 16-Gauge - White - per Foot # DW02359-1 for the additional running light wire. You can connect these to a 4-way flat connector using the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat Trailer...

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White Item # MA00-05100K only requires 12 volt, 5 amp power to operate so based on this 12 gauge wire would be overkill but 16 gauge such as # DW02359-1 sold by the foot is more ideal.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lights on Right Side Not Working
If the running lights on your right (or passenger) side are working, but they are working for the other side then this indicates that you either have a short, some damaged wiring, or your running light (or just the bulb) on the left side needs to be replaced. Since trailer running lights on both sides use the same wiring you know that your trailer is getting the power because one side is lighting up. Start at your trailer plug and work your way back to your running light on the right...

  • Preferred Method of Grounding Trailer Lighting Circuits
Running a direct ground up to the trailer tongue or junction box would certainly work, but the only time I'd see that as being necessary is if the lamps were connected to a non metallic structure or a metallic structure that wasn't directly connected to the trailer frame. If the lamps aren't connected to a metal structure in direct contact with the trailer frame, you can use a short length of # DW02359-1 wire with a # DW05702-1 ring terminal on each end to serve as a jumper wire that joins...
