I just purchased a 2016 Lexus RX 350. Do you know the installation differences between this vehicle and the 2015 model?

The 2015 and 2016 model years of the Lexus RX 350 are from different generations of this popular vehicle (AL10 and AL20) and so the hitches that fit the two model years are different. For the 2016 Lexus RX 350 we offer Curt hitch # C13272 which fits both F-Sport and non-F-Sport versions. This is a 2-inch Class III hitch that installs without drilling using the included hardware packet.

I have linked the written installation instructions as well as two helpful articles. The tools required are listed in the instructions; the only special item needed is a torque wrench like # ALL944001 which is required to endure you secure the included fasteners to the proper torque values listed in the instructions. Curt rates the installation of this hitch as being fairly easy.

If your plan is to use the Curt hitch for carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier then you might want to use their stabilizing strap # 18050 to help support the load on the hitch.
