Good news! I was able to go out to our warehouse and measure the Curt Hitch # 13407.
I have attached an image to this page for your viewing convenience.
The Curt # 13407 is the confirmed fit for the 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. This Curt Hitch # 13407 will even fit the Trac models that have a factory installed hitch.
The wiring harness I recommend for your vehicle is the Draw-Tite # 18252 because it comes with a handy tester to help identify which signal is coming from which wire behind your taillights.
You may also need a ball and ball mount if you plan on towing, I recommend the etrailer # 989900, because this kit includes two different sized balls and ball mounts conveniently in a carrying case and will help to complete your towing setup.
