I have a 2005 Ford Explorer Sporttrac it has a 350lb tongue weight 3500 gross max weight. Need a hitch to tow a 2800 lb motorcycle trailer being used as a food truck. It is advisable for a truck this size and with age of truck?

Hey Tina, for your 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac you can use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75112. This hitch has a max weight capacity of 6,000 lbs, a 600 lb tongue weight capacity, and is custom fit so it'll bolt right up.
Since you're planning on towing a trailer, you're also going to need a ball mount # 989900 and a wiring harness # C58044.
