What other items will I need to use the RoadMaster StowMaster Tow Bar, RM-501, to tow my 99 GMC Jimmy?

If you have a regular model 1999 GMC Jimmy (not an S-15 model) then you will need to use a tow dolly like the RoadMaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes, # RM-2050-1, as there are no base plates available for the Jimmy.
If you have an S-15 Jimmy, there are base plates available depending on what model you have.
For a Jimmy Envoy, 4 wheel drive and not a Black Diamond, ZR2, or Xtreme, use # 179-2.
For a S-15 Jimmy, 4 wheel drive and not a Black Diamond or Xtreme, use # 165-2.
For a S-15 Jimmy, 2 wheel drive, 4 door and not a ZR2 or Xtreme, use # BX1616
For a S-15 Jimmy, 2 wheel drive, 2 door and not a ZR2 or Xtreme, use # 161-1 or # 161-2.
You would then be able to use the Roadmaster Stowmaster Tow Bar, # RM-501 with any of the Roadmaster options, but if you have 2 wheel drive, 4 door using the Blue Ox # BX1616 you'll want the tow bar # BX4330. This tow bar works with EZ, XL, and standard base plates. I have included a link to a video review below.
You will also need safety cables and a light kit as required by law. For safety cables, I recommend the Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, # RM-643. For a temporary lighting solution, use the Magnetic Towing Light Kit, # RM-2120. These lights have a magnet that will stick to a flat metal surface and plug into a 4-flat on the tow vehicle. For a more permanent solution, I recommend the Tail Light Isolating Diode System with Wiring Harness, # 38955. I have included an installation video and demonstration video of this kit below.
Finally, you will need to check with the manufacturer for instructions on the proper procedure for towing your vehicle because some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, an axle disconnect, drive line disconnect, or free-wheeling hubs before they can be towed.
