Do I need to tie the steering wheel on my 2011 jeep wrangler unlimited sports, to tow it behind my motor home. Towing 4 down. Using your Alpha tow bar?

Actually when you flat tow a vehicle you want to have the steering wheel unlocked so that it can turn freely when the tow vehicle is turning. Otherwise the front tires would scrub and put a lot of strain on the steering of the vehicle and the flat towing components.
You will need to consult the owners manual of your Wrangler to determine what procedures are recommended when flat towing your vehicle.
For a base plate kit you would want the part # BX1126 which would work well with the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar part # BX7380.
All that is left would be supplemental braking. The easiest to use kit we offer is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
