  We do offer various different antennas for RV stereos like the Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R or part # JAN139. The difference mostly comes down to mast length, mount type, and cable length. The actual plug which goes into the stereo is universal so you don't have to worry about brand. That said, the actual mast is specific to the base which means you can't usually just replace this part so you'll need a new unit if yours is gone or damaged.   The Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R comes with bolts/nuts not self tapping screws. However, you can add these using part # 1131832 (3). In regards to strength, the self tapping screws will hold the antenna just fine on your roof so there will be no issues here.

  We do have Jensen In-Wall Antenna - AM/FM - 6' Long # AN140 which is 6 feet long total, but it comes with a threaded on wire loom to hardwire to an antenna, and it can be removed which leaves you with about 3 foot long cable that would work for you and thread right into your new antenna without hardwiring anything. We also have Jensen Antenna - Top or Side Mount - Rubber Mast - 6" # JAN139 which is an antenna with 44-3/4" long cable.

  Hey Tom, Typically you'd just bend the antenna down and have the cover sit over it. That's completely dependent on the length of the antenna and its flexibility though. If bending down isn't an option I'd just see if I could replace the antenna with one that has an adjustable base like the Jensen # 44US01R so that you can lay the antenna flat against the roof when the cover is being used. I would not cut a hole in the cover and add a grommet since this would likely just lead to a leak...

• How To Install The Jensen Antenna With Rubber Mast On An RV
  To install the Jensen Antenna - Top or Side Mount - Rubber Mast # 44US01R you'll need to drill a hole about 3/8" wide to fit the coaxial cable connector through into your RV. You'll also need to pre drill some holes for the mounting screws using a 7/64" drill bit since the included screws aren't self-tapping. You'll place the black gasket on the antenna over the coaxial connector and you will place the white gasket on the inside of the RV. Then run the screws through and tighten them up...

  You don't necessarily have to use the included ground wire on the Jensen # 44US01R, but as it was mentioned in the answer that you had looked at, it will help make sure you've got as clear of a signal as possible. • Removing the Rubber Mast on Jensen Antenna # 44US01R
  The mast of the Jensen Antenna # 44US01R that you referenced can be easily removed by taking out the screw that attaches it to the base (see attached). The mast is actually rubber so I doubt it will do any damage to your cover if you fold it down, plus when you remove the rubber mast half of that ball joint is still attached to the base so it may be better to leave the rubber mast installed.

  If the static you are hearing on your Jensen Stereo part # JWM60A is only when the radio is being played then the issue is most likely with your antenna. I would try adjusting the antenna to see if the static goes away but it not then the antenna may be bad and will need to be replaced. For this, I recommend the Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R which is both a top and side mount. If the static you are hearing is both with the radio and other multimedia inputs such as CD/DVD's then the issue...

  As long as the batwing antenna on your RV has the standard male antenna jack (see photo) then yes the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM70A will work. The jack port for the antenna is located on the side of the unit next to the RCA ports. If your batwing does not use the standard male antenna jack and you cannot convert it then it may be time to add a new modern antenna such as the Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R which has both top and side mounts.
