Since you have a 4 wheel drive 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer you can flat tow or use a car transport.

The Roadmaster base plate # 3109-1 you were looking at is a custom fit for your vehicle. The quick disconnect adapter for this base plate to connect it to the tow bar is # 910021-00. If you don't already have a tow bar and if you go with the Falcon # RM-520, it includes the quick disconnect adapter bar already.

Some items you will need to complete your towing setup are:
a Wiring Kit for your TrailBlazer # RM-15267
a Braking system like # SM99251
Safety Cables like # RM-643
and possibly a High/low adapter, I have added a link of all our high/low adapters

When installing the braking system on your 2003 TrailBlazer the brake light switch wire should be white if you have manual seats and green and white if you have electric. Your owners manual also states that you will need to pull 2 fuses to flat tow and to prevent any battery drainage.

I have linked all the above parts to this page for your convenience as well as a few Help Article on Towing.
