Question:
Looking to replace oem hitch on 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500hd, 6 1/2 foot bed. Is there a direct replacement ? I dont mind drilling, but it would be much easier if there is a bolt up option. I would like to stay in 12000 gvw range, as that exceeds trailer weight. Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2005 Chevy Silverado I would recommend the Draw Tite Hitch part # 41944. This hitch requires no drilling for installation, has a 13k capacity and will replace your current factory hitch.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
