Longer Yakima Hitch Pin Bolt for Wider 2 inch Trailer Hitch Application
Published 10/08/2015 >
Question:
We have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma with a reinforced 2inch tow hitch which is wider than my older vehicles hitch. The stock Yakima Hook Up bolt does not have enough thread on it, or length to make contact with the threaded area inside of the Yakima Hook Up when it sits inside the receiver. I saw a similar question that someone submitted about their Toyota Sequoia with the same problem, but theres no reply from them saying if this part worked out for them or not? Thanks in advance...

Without knowing what bike rack you have it's hard to say what pin you would have currently, but I did speak to my contact at Yakima and she said that the part # Y8890200 is 4-1/2 inches long which may be longer than what you currently have since some of the pins are only 4 inches long.
