Question:
Need clarification on tow hooks. Comments state tow hooks can remain on vehicle after installation, as do the pictures, but instructions say to return tow hooks to customer. Referring to Drawtite 65028 or Curt 31108 I want tow hooks to remain on vehicle after install. Possible?

I spoke with my contacts at Curt and Draw-Tite regarding the front mounted trailer hitches you referenced, Curt # 31108 and Draw Tite # 65028 which are confirmed fits for your 2005 Chevy 2500HD. They both said that you will be able to retain the tow hooks after installing the trailer hitches.
