Question:
Can this unit work in a Tundra Crewmax?

The Andersen Ultimate Connection you referenced, part # AM3200 isn't meant to be used in trucks with beds shorter than 6 feet.
The only safe way to tow a fifth wheel with your Crewmax would be to use a standard (non sliding) fifth wheel hitch and a Reese Sidewinder installed in place of your original pin box. If you don't already have bed rails in your truck, you can install them using part # C16304-200.
The hitch you'll need will depend on the weight of your fifth wheel. The non-sliding version of the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 would be a great choice. You'll also need Wedge # C16991 to keep the king pin from rotating inside the hitch head.
The Sidewinder you'd need will depend on the OEM pin box on your 5th wheel. Look on the pin box for a sticker, stamping or plate listing the manufacturer name and part number. Lippert 1621 is a common pin box. Click the link for the Sidewinder FAQ article I've linked you to. At the bottom of the page, it shows a listing of all the Sidewinder models and which OEM pin boxes they fit. Simply match up your pin box to find the replacement. The FAQ also describes how the Sidewinder provides extra clearance between the front of the fifth wheel and the rear of the truck cab.
If you don't already have one, you can install a 7-way in your truck bed by installing # 41157.
