Question:

Im pretty sure the INRT202 wont fit on my Nissan Frontier 2012 that has the channels because they are set too low. Considering getting the 201 but Im not sure it will fit around the channel or between it and the bed rail. From top of bed rail to mid channel is 3 3/4inch vertical. I read one person attached the 201 to the tie downs on this same truck for this problem but I dont understand how he did that. Do you have a solution for me before I order? Maybe someone else has come up with another solution. A person at INNO told me they had not had customers with this complaint but I find that surprising. Would really like to buy this as it sounds perfect for me if it would work and gets great reviews. Help, please! and thanks.

The Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds, part # INRT202 is designed for trucks just like your 2012 Frontier.

I have attached a photo of the # INRT202 for you. The small square plate( pointed out with an arrow in the photo) attached to the eye bolt is designed to fit inside the C-channel on your truck. You slide it to the position you want for your bike and then turn the eye bolt to tighten the # INRT202 securely to the C-channel.

The # INRT201 is not designed to work with trucks that have the C-channel tie-downs installed.
