Specs:
The space-saving Velo Gripper bike carrier lets you transport 1 bike in your truck bed. Because your bike will be mounted along the inside of your truck bed, you'll have plenty of room for those other items you need to haul. This carrier mounts easily in the C-channel of your truck bed, and ratcheting straps hold a bike of any shape or size by the seat stay and fork. Built-in D-rings act as tie-down spots so that you can secure your bike with a cable lock or tie down other cargo with a bungee cord or strap.
Hassle-Free Bike Mounting
Two ratcheting straps on adjustable rods hold one bike of any shape or size by the fork and seat stay - no need to remove your front wheel to mount your bike. The rods rotate so the holders can grab your bike from any angle. Rotating the rods also allows you to adjust the amount of space between your bike frame and the side of your truck bed. That way, you can position your bike close enough to the side of your truck bed to save space but not so close that your bike and truck bed make contact.
Simple Truck-Bed Installation
The Velo Gripper installs without drilling in the C-channel mounted on the inside wall of your truck bed. To install, place the included protective plates on top of your truck bed rail to prevent the mounting brackets from scuffing or scratching the paint. Then slide the square nuts into the C-channel and position the mounting brackets over the protective plates. Tighten down the brackets and square nuts with the eye bolts to complete installation.
Space-Saving Design
Your bike will rest on both wheels in its normal upright position on the inside of your truck bed. This mounting style leaves most of your truck bed open to carry other gear. You can position your bike at the front or the rear of your truck bed to help reduce the potential for the bike to roll. This not only reduces pressure on the Velo Gripper but also saves space in your truck bed.
D-Ring Attachments
Each bracket has an attached D-ring that enables you to use tie-down straps with or without your bike mounted. Loop a a cable lock with a maximum diameter of 3/4" (sold separately) through the D-rings or the eye bolts and through your bike frame to lock the carrier to your truck and your bike to the carrier. A 5' - 6' long cable is recommended for locking your bike and both brackets. When you're not transporting a bike, these D-rings make great tie-down spots for securing other gear in your truck.

Product does NOT work with the Toyota locking bed rail system as advertised. It can be made to fit within the rails, but it is a somewhat tricky process.
As far as holding the bike steady, that aspect of the product works great, though I highly recommend an adjustable clasp system instead of the Allen key for locking the extended arms down.
This kit is super easy to install on a Tacoma pickup truck... I have a long bed Tacoma with the bed rails so I don't need to take off my wheel... also easy to unclamp the bike for in and out usage.... "I have a full suspension specialized Stumpjumper. " And if you're wanting to take off the mounds so they don't get stolen, it's two bolts and you can put them in your vehicle when you're all on the trails.
These are excellent quality and fit well into the channel of my truck bed. The only drawback is my 2012 Tacoma TRD Double Cab has the short bed (5 ft) and the rear gripper bike rack is at the very end of the channel. The bikes just fit but this is due to the truck and not the Velo Gripper.
Used them several times over the past year to secure our two mountain bikes. They hold the bikes firmly and upright, freeing up lots of space for storage. When they were installed, I made small notches in the plastic trim on the pickup bed on each side of the brackets. When I need them, I simply line up the brackets with the markings and attach them to the bikes. Quick and perfect fit each time. They are a unique product and generate a lot of interest.
This is a great product. It fits well and secure on my truck. I used to load my e-bike into the truck and strap it down with tie down straps which required me to get into the truck bed to do so. Now with the Inno Velo Gripper i can secure the bike easily from out the truck using the two grips and it feels more secure than with the tie down straps.
I love my Inno Velo Gripper truck bed bike rack. It was so easy to install and remove if I need to (which I do when season is over). I have had so much interest in it when I've been at biking events. People seem to like that it doesn't have to be mounted to the vehicle and be in the way like many rear mount racks. I like that too but I also like that I don't have to take a wheel off to haul my bike and my friends bike. I highly recommend the Inno Velo Gripper bike rack. Happy Biking!
Works as advertised - a very well designed product. Puts the bikes firmly at the side of the bed so you can use the center channel for bulky items. Very pleased with this purchase
Holds my bike onto the C-channel of my Tacoma w/o issue. Will likely add some padding under the l-brackets to prevent rattling at highway speed.
Easy to install, easy to use.
I have a 2021 Toyota Tacoma and they work perfect for my downhill mountain bikes, love them. Can load and unload without ever having to climb into the back of my truck
These work perfect for me, since they fit in the C-channel you can adjust for different bikes. (I have 2)
They seem pretty heavy duty, not cheap or flimsy and the price is way lower than having to get a trailer hitch. receiver and bike rack.

Doing great. They are in full sun a lot and not even wore out or anything.
Ordering and delivery were great! My mistake ordering wrong item, but return was made easy with no problem. Never have any problems with products from etrailer
Velo Gripper Bike Rack install was super easy. Velo Gripper installed exactly as advertised. The videos were very informative and install was exactly as described. Install on 2023 Tacoma and it fit perfectly. Bike looks extremely stable so I don’t anticipate any issues.
Well made. Fits my 2017 Toyota Tacoma with "C" track perfectly and holds the bike upright protecting the bike and giving me room for my kayak.
I could not attach it to my truck.
It had a weight rating that was not mentioned in the add.
I use this product on GM trucks equipped with cargo stabilizer bars for transporting our heavy e-bikes. They are easy to install and versatile. I have taken the bikes throughout the southeast to rail-trails and on the auto train. I added a strap on each bike recently so there is less play.
I love this bike rack…I use it for my Mokwheel Basalt…that’s 82 pounds of E-bike…holds like a champ…I adapted it to work with the track rack I installed on my truck…fantastic

Great…love it…
Absolutely love this bed rack setup, I bought two sets one for both my wife and I, they work perfectly was easy to install we are very happy with our purchase.
This is a great product that was made to fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma truck bed liner. In no time I can have my bike held securely in the bed of my truck with total confidence it will not come loose. I highly recommend it.

Great!
Easy to set-up, adjust & use. Keeps the bikes secure and upright even on rough 4WD roads. I pull a camp trailer often, so couldn't use a hitch rack, but these are better anyhow because I can keep an eye on my bikes while on the road, plus, they don't stress the frame from a weird angle, the way some racks do. These were definitely worth the money. Very satisfied.

Have had these for over a year now, hauled bikes literally thousands of miles over every type of terrain without a single issue. Beats the pants off of hanging them over the tailgate!

Glad I found this mount as I was thinking I would have to fabricate my own. Love that I can load my bike while standing next to the bed and not having to climb up in. Great quality mount!
Works good, but maybe somehow pad the mounts a little better so they don’t scratch the bike and maybe a larger stiffer fender washer so they can really be tightened to the c Channel on the truck. It feels like if I tighten to hard it’s gonna squish the washer into the hole where the long bolt goes through
Very clever design for transporting bikes in your truck bed! it works. using two of these racks, plus a fork mount, I am able to securely carry three bikes. No worries about overhead clearances nor backing up into something and destroying stuff.
And, because I am very particular about scuffing up my truck's clear coat, a tailgate pad also would not meet my needs.
Get yourself one or two!
We bought 2 sets (2 bikes - well, about 9 bikes, but we carry 2 at a time!) for our Toyota Tacoma long bed; works just fine. They are fiddly, but that’s because each rack is pretty much infinitely adjustable. Once you get a set dialed in for a bike, you’re good to go though. Having said that, unless you have multiple bikes of the same or very similar configuration, you will have to adjust to hold different frames, but maybe that’s obvious.
Fact is, we like these so well, we bought another set (2? I forget) ‘just in case’ (companies do tend to change things that need absolutely no changing, in my experience).
We take bikes with us on vacation and my wife is a competitive triathlete (60+, mind you), so these things have been to a number of venues, and we’ve had multiple people ask about them. They are pretty minimal, and IMO, most truck owners want the bike in the bed, so win-win.
Buy some, and you won’t regret it, I’m pretty sure.
We purchased two of these earlier this year and I bought another just to have a back up in the event any parts were damaged or stolen. We love these racks for transporting our bikes in the bed of our Tacoma pick up. We've used them for short trips and to travel through multiple states, with no problems on any trip. We have these set up so two bikes are facing opposite directions with the crank side toward the inside. I wrap the contact points with cleaning towels, to prevent any rubbing off of decals or paint, and tie or velcro any wheels that look like they might spin. But putting bikes in and getting them out is super easy. We removed the racks during the winter months - when we wouldn't bike outside anyway - and easily put them back in during spring. These do not interfere with other uses of the bed, and when the bikes are in, there is ample room between them to carry camping or other travel gear. I'm really happy we decided to buy these!

Mounting the bikes in opposite directions and protecting those contact points is a smart move, and it’s great to hear everything stayed secure even on longer, multi-state trips. Thanks for sharing your experience! What kind of bikes are you carrying? What has been your favorite state to ride so far?

Great after a year. Didnt even consider how fenders would interfere with other types of racks, but not this one. Really happy with it!
