Measurement from Center of Hitch Pin Hole to Support Gusset on Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount
Updated 05/06/2015 | Published 05/05/2015 >
Question:
The video covers the distance from the hitch pin hole center to the BACK of the upright portion of the ball mount. I noticed that the upright portion has a gusset reinforcement which is quite common. I intend to order a Rock Tamer Mud Flap system along with a ball mount. This system requires at least one inch of free tube space between any gusset and the face of the receiver. Your measurement in the #AMSC6 video doesnt take the gusset into account. If I can get the measurement from the back edge of the gusset to the center of the hitch pin hole, I will be able to determine if AMSC6 will work on my vehicle with the Rock Tamer. Please provide this measurement.

The video may not cover it, but one of the pictures shows what you are looking for. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of that gusset is 4 inches on ball mount # AMSC6.
