Hi Jessey!

We have everything you need for your 2024 Subaru Outback. To start, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C67JR. This is a little bit of work to get installed, but it is going to be the best looking hitch once the install is done as well and you will barely notice it (see included image). It's the one to get.

For the wiring, you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56040. This is purely plug and play and it will take little to no time to get installed. Like 10 minutes. It's really that easy. I included an install video of this going onto a 2024 Outback for you to check out as well. The 4-Flat will get the brake lights and turn signals working properly, so you will not need to get anything else for that part.

Are you going to be towing a trailer? Or is hte wiring to power lights on a carrier/rack?

E trailer has a class 3 hitch that I have put on both a 2020 and a 2025 Outback in a few hours at the most. The Outback has a plug and play outlet for lights that will vary. I think the later gen 6 Outbacks have it in spare tire well on the righthand side. They will help you with exactly what you need and how to install it. Youtube also has several DIY videos as well with installing on your Outback.

@Tom We actually have a video of this harness being installed as well! We found the plug in the spare tire well/cargo area on the passenger side. It was a pretty easy install when we did it. What are you using your hitch and wiring for? Towing or carrying a bike rack with lights on it?

@LazerS I'm using several times a week for a bike rack as well as biannual trips to Florida. I have a 5 x 8 trailer that I occasionally use for hauling when needed. The wiring harness and hitch stays inside the spare tire well when not in use.

@Tom Oh nice! I haven't made my way to Florida yet, but it's on my list of places to go. One of these days! ^___^ Have fun out there and just let me know if there is anything I can help with in the mean time!
