Sounds like your trailer has fixed carpet-covered 2x4s that support the hulls and you want to replace them with roller bunks. The CE Smith Roller Bunks, # CE27700, that you referenced, would be a great option for your catamaran boat trailer. These roller bunks are 4 ft long and they can be mounted directly on top of your current wood bunks. You can also use the CE Smith Mounting Brackets, # CE10003G-4, if you want to replace the wood bunks with the roller bunks. For 5 ft roller bunks use part # CE27710.
Keep in mind, these bunks have a weight capacity of 1,500 lbs.
