    • Each bolster bracket installs on your boat trailer's frame with a single U-bolt (sold separately)
  • Strong swivel brackets let you tilt the roller bunks
    • Helps you to fit the boat hull snugly onto trailer during the loading process
    • Hardware is included for attaching the swivel brackets to the bolster brackets
  • 11-Gauge, galvanized steel resists rust and corrosion
    • Suitable for saltwater exposure
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 4 bracket assemblies
  • Overall height: 11"

    • Mounting slot dimensions: 3-3/4" long x 1/2" wide
    • Spacing between mounting slots: 1/2"

Bolster-and-swivel-bracket assemblies are typically mounted upright on a boat trailer's crossmembers. They allow a mounted roller bunk, which runs from the front of the trailer to the back, to tilt to accommodate and support boat hulls of different sizes.

Galvanized Steel

Steel parts are galvanized by being hot-dipped in zinc after they have been stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

by:

Great staff to work with, my order was here very quick. I highly recommend Etrailer.

by:

Great product. Solved a big problem with my kayak trailer

by:

I was a little taken back because I thought this would come with all nuts and bolts I needed. When I bought the roller bunks they did not state at the time the brackets were not part of it. That was ok so I ordered the brackets and now I have to go find nuts and bolts to fasten the bunks

by:

worked well

by:

Everything worked perfectly. However offering the U bolts and a bolt kit at a good price would be nice in order to save a separate trip to the hardware store

by:

Typical good quality CE Smith product. Installation was easy on these bunk supports. Highly recommended versus value or non-name branded trailer supplies. The quality is worth the couple of extra bucks.

by:

exactly what I ordered but I won't be installing them for several weeks ....I thought they were a bit pricey but that's nothing new these days

Comments

  • What Size Mounting Hole is On Top of Roller Bunk Bracket CE10003G-4
The hole in the top of the swivel bracket of the bunk bracket part # CE10003G-4 is 7/16 inch in diameter. You would need to go with a nut and bolt that matches that hole size the best when securing your roller bunk to it. We don't have a specific size recommendation as applications can differ.

  • Roller Bunk Recommendation for a Boat Trailer with Wood Bunks
The CE Smith Roller Bunks, # CE27700, that you referenced would be a great option for your boat trailer. These roller bunks are 4 ft long and they can be mounted directly on top of your current wood bunks. You can also use the CE Smith Mounting Brackets, # CE10003G-4, if you want to replace the wood bunks with the roller bunks. Keep in mind, these bunks have a weight capacity of 1,500 lbs, but based on your photo, I do not think you will have much of an issue with that.

  • Can I Remove the Keel Rollers and Add Bunk Rollers to a Boat Trailer for a Smoker Craft Boat
I would be apprehensive about completely removing the keel rollers, especially if they support any weight. Removing the keel rollers would force the bunks to support more weight. This could be dangerous with the bouncing affect trailers and boats experience when towing. To make sure it is completely safe to remove the keel rollers without potentially damaging the boat, I recommend contacting Smoker Craft directly because they would be the best source to tell you if the hull of your boat...

  • Roller Bunk Recommendation For Boat Trailer Used In Saltwater
If you are looking to replace the bunks on your trailer with roller bunks, we have a few that may work for you. For a 5 foot bunk I recommend the CE Smith Roller Bunks, part # CE27710. These are constructed of 12 gauge galvanized steel and are rust and corrosion resistant. Since you said you are needing them for salt water, we recommend rinsing them with fresh water to prolong the life of the rollers. If you need a 4 foot version of these rollers I recommend part # CE27700. To mount...

  • Roller Bunk Recommendation for Jet Ski Ramp
For the 10 foot long bunks you have two sets of the CE Smith roller bunks part # CE27700 would work well for you. These can be mounted directly to the wooden bunks you have already or you can remove them and install them with the brackets part # CE10003G-4. The steel of these buns are galvanized which will do an excellent job preventing rust and corrosion. They would last longer than wood being constantly submerged.

  • How Would Roller Bunks Install on Karavan Boat Trailer
Since the picture you submitted belongs to Karavan I can't post it here on our site, but if you check out the attached picture you can see how a very similar trailer had a set of rollers like the part # CE27710 installed. For a set of swivel brackets like what you see in the picture that are holding the bunks you'd then want the part # CE10003G-4. I also attached a couple install video links for you to check out as well.

  • Recommendation on Replacement Boat Trailer Bunks with Roller-Bunks
Yes, can replace your current wooden bunks with a set of roller-bunks, like the CE Smith Roller Bunks # CE27710. Upgrading to roller-bunks will improve the loading and unloading of your boat. The roller are made of a heavy-duty rubber that will not only absorb the shock when loading and unloading your boat, but the rubber roller will protect the hull of your boat from scratches. CE Smith roller-bunks measure 5 feet long and will have 6 rollers installed on each bunk. The bunks have a...

These 4 foot long rollers are 4-3/4 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches diameter. I recommend using the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks - Galvanized Steel - Qty 4 # CE10003G-4 to support it. • Does it Matter Which Side of the Crossmember the Boat Bunk Brackets Install On
It doesn't really matter which side of the crossmember of the trailer frame the bunk brackets install on. As long as they are torqued down properly either way will be perfectly safe. Since the brackets have swivels like # CE10003G-4 there would be no need to cut the boards at a different angle.

You could absolutely replace your standard wooden bunk boards with the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 5 Rollers Each - 4' Long - 1,500 lbs - 1 Pair # CE27700 you were looking at, but since they have a 1500lb rating each you will need to make sure to use at least 3 pairs due to your boat being 4200lbs. • Recommended Rollers for Pontoon Boat Trailer with Wooden Bunk Boards
The CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers part # CE27710 will work great on a pontoon boat, they can either be mounted to the wooden bunk boards or attached directly to the frame using Swivel Brackets part # CE10003G-4. There will be more support if you mount them directly to the bunk boards but this will raise the height of the boat by about 3". We have had this come up before and the manufacturer stated that the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers # CE27710 would work for a 15' boat in place of your 7' bunk boards as long as the cross members are 56 inches or less. Which your 50" spread is. You can mount them to the existing bunk boards on your trailer or you can use the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks # CE10003G-4.

  • Will the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunk Work On Outside Frame Rails
The CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks part # CE10003G-4 are designed to be mounted to the horizontal center sections of the trailer also know as crossmembers. These will not work when mounted to the vertical outside frame rails. The swivels would be in the wrong position and the bunk boards would tilt front to back and not side to side. They are designed to be used with the CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers like part # CE27840.

  • Recommended Bunk Board Brackets
We definitely have options for brackets to mount your bunk boards. This will depend on the size needed, of course, but here are a couple options for you to take a look at. The CE Smith # CE10003G-4 will come as a 4 pack and are 11 inches tall, including the swivel bracket on the top. If you need a little more height, the # CE10002G-4 will be much the same, but measure 13 inches. The swivel bracket on the top pf these will let you angle your bunk boards to the angle that suits your needs best.

This bracket can be installed with CE Smith U-Bolts - Galvanized - 3-13/16" Long x 3-1/16" Wide x 1/2" Diameter - Qty 4 # CE15283GA-4. You will want the proper fit for best load support and function.
