Question:

Reviewing the Blue OX base plate for the 2010 Honda Fit Sport, BX2253. The kit has a 6 way round wire adaptor and a 4 way round wire adaptor, correct? Q1. What would I need to acquire to connect the Hopkins HM56302 tail light wiring kit to one of those wiring adaptors? Q2. What umbilical cord/cable would I need to go to from the Q1 solution 4 or 6 way to a 7 way round connector on my MH? Needs to be longer then 3 feet, 6-8 feet.

The base plate has mounting points for either a 6 or 4 way round connector to attach, but the connectors aren't included with the base plates.

I'd recommend cutting off the 4-pole flat provided by the Hopkins # HM56302 flat towing wiring harness and installing the 4 pole round connector provided with the 7-foot long Blue Ox 7-way to 4-pole round cord, part # BX88254.
