Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2013 Winnebago Ford F-53 Chassis Motor Home

Question:

I have a 2013 Winnebago Class A gas motorhome with a factory hitch which I believe is a class 3 hitch. I have a 7,000 lb boat. Id like to replace the factory bolt on hitch with a class 5 hitch. My frame bolts are about 37inch center to center. Which hitch is correct? thanks

What you will need to do is install a weld-on heavy duty truck trailer hitch like in the link I have provided. All of these hitches are going to be Class IV or V hitches like you are looking for. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder with experience in this sort of installation.

A custom fit hitch is not available for the 2013 Ford F-450 chassis models.

You will want to make sure your motor home has a towing capacity of up to 7,000 lbs. This information should be available in your owner's manual. These hitches are not for use with weight distribution systems.
