looking for a brake controller and wring adapter for a 2004 F150. What do you recommend in the $50-$100 range and what adapter do I need? I do not tow a lot but will need it from time to time. Thanks

For a great brake controller at a great price I would recommend the Curt Triflex Brake Controller part # C24VV. This is a proportional brake controller that will sense how much braking power the tow vehicle is applying and will proportionately apply the trailer brakes to slow the trailer down in a smooth, effective manner.

To install the brake controller all you need is the correct install harness which would be the part # C51322. Check out the link to the install video I attached as well.
