How Thick Are Electric Brake Shoe Pads and When Should They be Replaced

What is the new thickness of the actual lining and at what measurement is it considered time to replace? Dont want to replace unnecessarily for short trips but also dont to go farther ignorantly thinking I have 50 lining left. 2010 Airstream 19foot Victorinox

On Dexter 12" Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly # 23-458 the shoe pad thickness is 3/16 of an inch. Dexter says that you should replace the shoes if the material gets down to 1/16 of an inch thick or less.

Hello Josh. Yes, the Dexter Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack #DX72CR can indeed be welded on. It is intended to be bolted on, but the instructions also cover weld on applications as well.
