16" x 6" Trailer wheel has 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and 4.25" pilot diameter. Rustproof aluminum wheel has a 6-spoke design in glossy black. Steel inserts in lug nut wells secure wheel.
Features:
Specs:
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 16 inch by six inch glossy Black Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It is durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. Now we do mention it's an Eagle Series, which you can see is a split six spoke design, has a nice glossy black finish, and then they do a machine edge on the spokes and even a little bit on the lips here to give a nice shine to the wheel. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to help protect from scuffs and scratches.
Now, one of the unique features I like on this wheel is they use these pressed in steel inserts in the lug nut wells, and that's to help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically what that does is when you put this up on your hub over the studs, put your lug nuts on, torque your lug nuts down, those steel inserts will help prevent those holes from wearing down or elongating over time, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Now the valve stem right over here is included. It is pre-installed in the wheel. Now the center cap is not included.
If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that has the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you install your center cap, it will go through this hole. Diameter on this pilot hole is 4.25 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAE J 1204 standards. Now I do want to do a couple measurements on this of the diameter and the width of the wheel.
And when you measure the diameter, you're always measuring inside to inside. So basically you put your tape measure on there, and you should be able to see there's your 16 inch diameter. The width on the wheel is gonna be the same way it's measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. Measure six inch width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern.
And if you wanted to measure that bolt pattern on a wheel like this, it's an even number of lugs, in this case, six. It's pretty simple because the lug holes, you can see, are directly across from each other. So you just pick the hole, let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. On this, it'll measure five and a half inches. So it's a six lug five and a half inch bolt pattern. This will use a wheel lug size of either a half inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 3,300 pounds. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Lionshead 16 inch by six inch glossy black Eagle aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern.
