  • Parts Needed To Install 5 On 5-1/2" Bolt Pattern Hubs On a 1987 M105A2 Trailer
To be able to run the same 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern for your Jeep Wrangler on the M105A2 trailer you are going to have to cut off your current spindles to have 2 Spindles # TRU77FR installed. This is the common size spindle found on a 3,500lb axle which will then let you install 2 of the Hub/Drums # AKHD-555-35-EZ-K. With these you will want to install Electric Brakes # 23-468-469 since they are much better on an Overlanding trailer than surge type brakes. We do have a Junction Box # 3430001-JBK...

  • Can The TruRyde #84 E-Z Lube Spindle TRU77FR Be Bolted Onto A Trailer Axle?
Hi Charles! That's an interesting idea, but the TruRyde #84 E-Z Lube Spindle w/ Brake Flange for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # TRU77FR does need to be welded onto the axle beam. The 4 bolt holes/plate on this spindle (and all spindles for that matter) is designed for a brake to attach to it. I would not trust this plate or the plate on your current axle to handle the stress that would be exerted on them. Have you installed a new spindle before? It can be a bit of work as you need to cut off...

  • Replacement 3,500 lbs Spindle for a Square Tie-Down Axle
Hey Jeff, thanks for the pictures! I found a break down of your axle online and yours is a a 3,500 lb axle, which uses a # 84 spindle compatible with a # L68149 inner and an # L44649 outer bearing. Pretty sure you need the #84 E-Z Lube Spindle item # TRU77FR but I would like you to take some measurements to confirm because I could not pull a part number. The diagram I found matches up to the #84 E-Z Lube Spindle w/ Brake Flange item # TRU77FR. It has a 3" inner diameter and the Stub dimensions...

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2004 Toyota Tundra w/ a Factory Towable Bumper
Yes, it will so long as you do not have a factory hitch installed. The etrailer Hitch item # e87KR is compatible with the 2004 Toyota Tundra's with the factory towable bumper. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver, that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs. It'll look like the picture below when it is installed. What do you plan on using a hitch for? You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred...

  • Availability Of A #84 Spindle For A 3" Axle Tube
We do carry the #84 spindle # TRU77FR which is designed to accept a 3" axle beam. The spindle itself has an overall length of 6-1/8". This is the only #84 spindle we have for a 3" tube. All of the others would be a #42 spindle like the # TRU39FR

  • Installing TRU77FR Spindle
The # TRU77FR spindle accepts a 3 inch axle beam, and the spindle is designed to be welded into place. If the axle tube is painted on the ends, you'll want to take the tubing down to bare metal so you get the proper penetration on your weld.

  • Replacement Brakes, Hubs, and Spindles for 2000 Eagle Boat Trailer
In order to find the correct replacement parts for your 2000 Eagle boat trailer you will need to identify your axle. We have no way of looking up specific parts for your trailer. A good place to start would be with the axle tag. This should have the capacity or a serial number which can be used by the axle manufacturer to find the capacity. If the tag is missing or worn you can pull off the hubs and use the bearings to identify what you need. Check and see if the part numbers are stamped...

  • Replacement Brakes and Hub/Drum Assembly for Eagle Boat Trailer With 6k Axle
Thank you for providing that information. Since you have a 6,000 lb axle we can narrow down the parts. However, you will still need to identify your grease seal. Unfortunately, the serial number won't help in this case since Axis Products, Inc. was sold in 2015 so no information is available. For brakes you can use the # AKEBRK-7-SA if you need electric brakes or the # AKFBBRK-7 for hydraulic brakes. For the hub/drum assembly we have a few options based on the grease seal inner diameter...

  • Replacement Idler Hub Needed for 3500 Pound Axle with 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern
If you are positive that your bearings have the same L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and the L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing as the #84 EZ Lube Spindle # TRU77FR, we have what you need! You have a 3,500 pound capacity axle with idler hubs (thanks for the photos!) For the hubs, I recommend the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 # AKIHUB-655-35-EZ-K. This comes with the same 6 on 5-1/2 pattern that you need. This is for a non-braking...

  • How to Remove a Hub From a Trailer Spindle
To remove a hub from an axle, you will need to first remove the grease cap on the end of the hub. This will expose the end of the spindle. Once at this point, you will need to see if you have an EZ-Lube spindle, like # TRU77FR, or a standard spindle, like # TRU57FR. If you have the standard spindle, there will be a castle nut threaded onto the end of said spindle that is locking a fairly large washer in place. This will be locked in place by a cotter pin, like # 165649. These will all...

  • Replacing Spindles On A 1994 FLOE PRO-100 Snowmobile Trailer
We can certainly point you in the right direction. Unfortunately we do not have literature that will give us spindle/bearing sizes based off a year, make and model of trailer. So it may be difficult to recommend a direct replacement without a bit more information. That said, looking at these 1994 FLOE Pro-100 plus snowmobile trailers, it appears to have a light duty single axle setup. My guess would be something like a 3,500 lb axle, or smaller. The best thing would be to have you confirm...

That is a very neat trailer! I am happy to try and help you along. With an axle that old, it may prove very difficult to find parts that are directly compatible. A lot of parts they used back then are more or less obsolete now. A majority of the electric bake kits we sell will use either a 4 or 5 bolt flange. We do not offer any brakes that use a 6 bolt flange. That said we may still have some options for you. We do offer replacement spindles with a pre welded brake flange like part #...

While we do not have a replacement axle which matches the dimensions listed on your axle tag, you should consider having a new Spindle # TRU77FR welded in place of your damaged one. I recommend having the spindle professionally welded to ensure it is on straight. According to your axle tag it is a 3,500lb axle with 2,750lb weight rating and 70" hub face length and 54" spring center length. • Replacement Hub Assembly For A Light Duty Snowmobile Trailer
I am afraid we do not carry any hubs that will fit your parameters. The .75" ID bearing is highly uncommon these days. We carry only one hub that uses a .75" Bearing with part # DX22XR. The problem with this is that the inner bearing for this hub is a 1.25" ID, so this will not work for your application. As far as the seal, the closest seal we have to the 14848 seal is our Grease Seal # 10-9. This grease seal has the same 1.5" inner diameter but is slightly smaller at 1.987" outer diameter...
