E-Z Lube and Easy Grease-Compatible Assembly for Simple Lubrication

The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube or etrailer Easy Grease axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

works great from what i hear. as anything you take care of it and it will do the job and take care of you.

Quick two day delivery! Good quality part (made in China) and an easy, cost effective way to replace damaged or worn out bearings and races. Just add grease and press in the seal! Just completed a 500+ mile trip with trailer and street bike in tow and had no issues.

After some 3000 highway miles and a few rough country roads carrying motorcycles and ATVs, only issue has been a lost dust cap.

by:

Worked great for a trailer project I built. Rolls smooth and tows great! Always fast service with etrailer too!

by:

These hubs worked perfectly. I purchased to replace the originals that came on a Carson flatbed utility trailer. Fit perfect. Installed easily. They were on my doorstep in two days. etrailer will be my go to shop for any trailer needs.

by:

Great product. Well made and easy to install. I will add that there was a delay in the shipping process that was not the fault of etrailer, however I called customer service and Candra G. did an amazing job of locating my shipment and expediting it’s delivery to get me on the road for a trip. Overall great product and amazing support!

by:

Everything went together easily and fit just like it should. No issues on a 600 mile round trip at interstate speeds towing 5000 pounds on a dual axle trailer.

These worked just fine while on the trailer and still look new when I replaced them recently with a set of drum brakes.

by:

They fit great

by:

Exactly as pictured. I can't comment on fitment as I did not buy it to use at this time but rather as a spare to have with me on a long trip. I opened it and checked everything and it appears well made. The only reason for four stars and not five is the bearings are not pre-loaded with grease but rather shipped dry. This is not a big deal as I always have the grease gun with me but I would have preferred them to have had grease in them and sealed for rust protection but I'll just grease them and put them in a zip lock bag, I''ll also put a little grease inside the Hub for rust protection.

They are kind of like a spare tire, you dont use it or need it until you do. Mine is packed and sealed up ready for the roadside fix I hope never comes.

by:

Great on shipping, I have yet to install product, thank you

by:

Everything is as expected.
Quality is
good.

by:

Great product and Karen made sure I got exactly what I needed for my trailer.
I highly recommend getting your trailer parts from etrailer.

by:

Straight forward. Product was exactly as described. Bearings, races and seals were already installed.

by:

Good part, just what I ordered.

  • Replacement Trailer Hubs with Bearings L68149 and L44649 that is Pre-Greased
For the correct hub/drum you'd want the part # AKHD-550-35-K which comes with the bearings you said you needed as well is pre-greased. If you were wanting an idler hub instead you'd want the part # AKIHUB-550-35-EZ-K.
