Question:
Hello, I’m looking for a hub assembly for my light duty snowmobile trailer. It has a tapered spindle that goes from 1” to .75”. The grease seal has an 1.5” inside diameter with a part number of 14848.

I am afraid we do not carry any hubs that will fit your parameters. The .75" ID bearing is highly uncommon these days. We carry only one hub that uses a .75" Bearing with part # DX22XR. The problem with this is that the inner bearing for this hub is a 1.25" ID, so this will not work for your application.
As far as the seal, the closest seal we have to the 14848 seal is our Grease Seal # 10-9. This grease seal has the same 1.5" inner diameter but is slightly smaller at 1.987" outer diameter where the 14848 is 1.993" outer diameter.
Since replacement parts are not going to be readily available, at this point we recommend either replacing your spindles with something more standard, like a #84 E-Z Lube Spindle # TRU77FR which is the standard size for a 3,500 lb axle. Or you could replace the axle entirely. I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but if this is something you want to look into, feel free to reach out to me directly and I am happy to help you along.
