Great bike rack with very little assembly. I immediately put my Specialized Fatboy on the rack and took it to the trails for a ride. Rack kept bike very secure and it was easy to load the bike.
Was very happy with the bike mount. It went together very easy, fit my rails and my bike great. Only complaint is that there was no padding on the rear rail clamp. I didn’t want to rub the paint off my rails so I added a thin piece of rubber and it works perfectly.
The tire straps are very poorly designed. They don't stay in the groves...pop out. I've now drilled and used a small bolt and washer so it can't cone out of the groves. For this money it should be a better design
Best roof rack I've purchased. I've had it for over a year. It's way better than Thule - more secure and way easier to take on and off - and less expensive. I use it for my road bike and fat back with equal ease. The unique way it attaches to your car rack makes it likely to fit almost any rack. For me, I've used it for a 2016 Sequoia and a 2017 Macan S. BTW, this is one of the few racks I've found that nicely carry a fat back. My tires are 4.5" wide, 26.5 tall...also used it for my 29er on occasion, but fat bikes are way more fun than 29ers.
If I were to complain, it is the arm gets a bit stiff sometimes and need to oil it, where my Thule is less inclined to need it...but this complaint does not diminish it from being an excellent/5 start product.
Great quality bike rack when paired with the Rhino-rack cross beams. When I use the bike rack and cross beams they are attached to my 2016 Subaru STi and I have drove it fairly aggressively with the bikes on the roof. Everything has stayed attached just fine.
The only thing I will point out is that you should check the attachment hardware every few uses because it will occasionally vibrate loose, nothing serious but if you never pay attention to this your bikes may fly off your roof! Ez fix though. I rate the rack 10/10 in my experience.
Couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to go with this bike rack, was on the fence between brands but Rhino Rack makes it beyond easy to use, from installing it on the racks, to daily use is just unbelievably simple! 100% would recommend to anyone looking into bike racks. Also huge selling point for sure is that it covers a very wide range of tire sizes where others are very specific!
I haven’t had the roof rack and the bike rack long enough to give a more detailed review but so far parts look amazing. Great quality, they hold my bike pretty good, no weird noises, a bit if wind noise but definitely not loud/ it doesn’t bother at all. But overall great product and company. Fast shipping as well and great updates.
I’ll update the review in a couple months.
I love the racks, instructions were understandable, one of my end caps came in bad, it can wiggle off after locking but I emailed etrailer and they arranged a replacement quick with rhino rack, pretty nice of them, comes with rhino rack decal and just have to decide where to put it, out my bike up and took it for a test drive and it was very nice, I love their package because it comes with locks and way cheaper than the competitors, very satisfied
This is a well built rack and carrier. The installation is straight forward. The enclosed instructions are helpful. This is the easiest roof mount bike carrier I have used

One year in! Easy to install. Looks sweet. Holds strong. Just be sure to latch it tight right up against your bike’s front frame!
I've used this combo, Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero & Hybrid Roof Bike Rack for many months while camping across many states over thousands of highway and rural roads. They've held on great with no problems at all. The bikes slip into the rack easily and don't wobble at any speed. The locking system is easy and effective. The crossbar system is completely steady with a load, very good looking and feels/looks like a very high quality accessory. I have zero regrets with this purchase.

Very impressed with the quality and build of this rack. Assembly was pretty straight forward. It fits well on my Thule rack with aero bars, holds my older Cannondale mountain bike securely and seems to be removed easily when not in use. I chose this style it would be a little more future proof and universal vs a fork mount. I purchased this model by recommendation from the etrailer YouTube video due to it being more easily removed than the similar Thule model. That was a BIG plus for me. I don't always need it attached. Bonus is that it includes the locks. Super happy with the purchase. Etrailer gave me a great shopping experience and shipped quickly.

Excellent. I like the robustness and utility of the bike attachments. I added the four ski carrier to my truck bed carrier.
Great option for one bike. Keep the tires on. Doesn't rock at all. Key and lock ensures it can't come out
Bike carrier is as advertised, easy to operate along with providing great security and one key for all locks, also E-trailer delivered as advertised with the best price.
Works very well for what we wanted. It is mounted on a ramp rack for a trike to enable a single bike as well.
