Absolutely love the install process and the look of this hitch. I installed it on my 1989 V30 Crew Cab. Took all of 10 minutes.
My only complaint is how it arrived to my doorstep. Not sure if it’s how these things are shipped or if Shipping dropped the ball but it seems like an easy way to lose parts if you ask me. Only stating this in hopes Etrailer can make a note of it happening.
Hitch arrived on time. It was package well and intact when it arrived. Hitch was complete with all hardware and with clear instructions for assemble and install. The quality of manufacturer and finish was outstanding. The online Helpful Product Information site whit the installed tips was very helpful. FOOD FOR THOUGHT!! for B&W manufacture and future consumers. My opinion is that if the hitch was designed wider with the frame rail tabs facing in ward this allow more room for the spare tire. I have a stock 1995 Ford F-250 Power Stroke 7.3 4X4 with the original size spare tire that was sold with the truck. After I installed the hitch I had to use a floor jack to reinstall the spare tire. With out a floor I wouldn't have been able to squeeze the spare tire in between the hitch brackets. This problem could and should be addressed for future consumers or at least brought to there attention.
Written instructions were inaccurate, however the instructional video on the website was dead on. Came with everything you need and a couple little extra pieces to account for a dropped nut/washer that gets eaten by the garage monster. Highly recommend etrailer, it’s always a personalized and accurate experience.

I’m very pleased with the receiver. I appreciated the Grade 8 hardware and the torque specifications provided.
The dealer installed a 10" drop bumper hitch when my truck was new. I finally switched to this receiver hitch a year ago. It's a vast improvement. My only regret is that I took so long to switch over. Getting set up to tow and towing are much easier now. 1997 F-250 HD.
This hitch seems well built and was packaged well for delivery. It does not fit a 1997 f350 single cab long bed with dual fuel tanks, even though the description stated that it would . I returned it.
Worked out nicely for my 1984 GMC k1500. Just had to drill the two center holes for the bolts. Included every thing I need to moved my spare tire over also. Great product.
Fit perfect and good quality. Install instructions were good too

I am very impressed with this product. The construction on the class 5 hitch is something to brag about! Very well constructed and made. The welds and craftsmanship looks great. The only mods I had to do, the center holes on the frame were off about a 1/4 inch, it’s was no problem to drill out with the right tools. It is well worth the time to install, took me about and hour. This is why I’m always proud to buy products made in the USA [Thumbs up] The quality of the B&W hitch is unmatched. The process and shipment was fast as well.

Hitch worked out great for my project, 1966 ford f250 body on a 1976 ford f250 4x4 highboy frame/chassis. Drilled all new holes to mount to frame. I had concerns because I had to shorten the frame 2 inches to accommodate the 66 long bed and factor original bumper. Thank you for the photos and dimensions of drop for the receiver tube. Hitch looks great and doesn’t hang to low.
I ordered this hitch for my 84 Chevy D30 military truck. After a few modifications to the existing mounting brackets for the tow hooks and the rear bumper I installed the new hitch assembley. Make sure you loose install all bolts first before tightening. Tighten new hitch assembly last. One of the most difficult parts is getting the Pindel hitch bolts lined up. I would suggest a good tapered line up bar.
Great hitch, I didn’t even have to drill one hole in the frame on my 1988 GMC v3500, it bolted right in. The receiver tucked under the bumper very good
The only thing I didn’t like was the trailer wiring plug bracket because it didn’t accommodate the new style 7-way and 4-way plug that come on the new Chevy trucks

Very good quality American made item. It fit my 1968 Ford F-100 perfect. It sits right below my new Fey step bumper and I can't even see it except for the square receiver hole.

Used it 4 times last year to pull my 25 foot Airstream using an equalizer hitch. Still works great!

Great receiver hitch! Easy install!
Had to trim the mounting ears about 3/16” of an inch on either side to clear bumper mounts. Seems very sturdy and well made. Looks good and doesn’t hang down too low on a 97 f250 with standard rear bumper.
Perfect fit on my chevy 3500 cab and chassis pickup. was missing a few washers but found some to finish install... fast shipping ordered on 3/16 received it 3/22

My 1 year update: I’ve pulled several thousand pounds with it and of course it handles it with ease. Highly recommend it for the squarebody guys or anyone restoring one. Powdercoat holds up amazingly and I’m glad I went with this one!
