Hitch to Fit 1997 Motorhome Chassis

Question:
Looking for a class 4-5 for my 97 Ford chassis motorhome. I have a 9990# GVWR inclosed 32 ft car hauler. The frame is 35 in wide. The mounting brackets need be 2 1/2 - 4 1/2 in deep. Thanks for any information. I dont have a problem with having to fab up some parts and welding them up.

The best solution we offer is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07 will fit the frame width you have and the drop requirement you need as well. It does require some fabrication to install like you mentioned which you can see in the attached install picture. It is a Class V hitch too like you said you wanted.
