Yes, some 4-step versions are offered with strut assist, but lift-assist struts listed separately may fit only certain 3-step models. Verify your exact model number to match any strut kit. If you want built-in assist, select a 4-step that includes it and confirm the doorway width range and entry height fit first.
It can be a direct swap when the new steps match the existing style and mounting. Confirm your doorway width and entry height, and verify the mounting pattern before removal.
