Roadmaster Hy-Power Diodes
Diodes permit electrical current to flow in only one direction - from the motorhome to the car - preventing electrical feedback and the damage it can cause to the towed car's electrical components.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Roadmaster heavy duty Hy-Power diodes for a quantity of four. Now, this will allow motor homes or RVs to power the lights on the tow vehicle without power feedback. The diodes will permit electrical current to flow in only one direction, from the motor home to the car, preventing any electrical feedback and the damage that it can cause to the tow car's electrical components.This part is for a quantity of four diodes with the 12 spade terminals included to hook this up. It is a heat sink design on the diode and this does reduce wiring hassles. It's a trouble-free operation. It does include detail wiring instructions on the back here, and the maximum load is 85 amps per diode.

Installing Baseplate an wire tailites for towinginstructions were great,the plate fit very good. The diodes work fine but wireing a ford edge for towing was hard an room for the diodes back of the tailites was very limited .I would very highly recomend your products

Easy to install in-line of your towed vehicle. Use your toad's own lighting and eliminate magnet sets or additional lighting installs. As easy as wiring a trailer. Make towing your toad as simple as possible. You owe it to yourself.
Fair price, delivered as agreed on time. Would buy again from this vendor.
Only reason I did not give this five stars is that I have yet to actually hook them up in the wiring system to enable my factory lights on the towed vehicle to be operational when taken on a trip behind my RV.
Diodes work as designed. They eliminate additional lights and prevent the need to drill a hole in the tail light assembly. I used these on a previous vehicle and they are still problem free after eight years.
perfect for my project -- using to tie flood lamps to rear of fire apparatus to use in conjunction with back up lamps and separately use the floodlights to be switched at the back of the apparatus

The base plate is easy to use and looks great on our MKX. The installation videos are very detailed and precise.
Works as expected. Only problem plugging electric to car sometimes not so great .Overall the Sterling setup is wonderful .
i installed this product in my golf cart because when i have to load the golf cart onto the trailer to take it to get repaired i can connect the golf cart to the truck and the trailer lights to the connecter at the back of the golf cart so that all the lights work
I installed these diodes on my wifes 2006 VW Jetta TDI to isolate the signal and tail light system from my tow vehicle. The system works as planned and the quality of the parts are excellent!
VW/Audi products are notorious for system glitches when you drive the stock lights with a tow vehicle. I routed standalone wires from the front bumper mounted bulkhead plug to the rear of the car down the inside of the drivers side rocker panel and into the trunk area.
I have used these in the past so when i got a new tow vehicle i bought them again.
They make wiring up the lights on a tow vehicle a snap. I have never had one fail.
