Question:
I am looking to get the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar to tow my 2015 Jeep wrangler....I am uncertain as to which base plate to get. I want the base plate that will accomodate the Roadmaster Tow defender rock shield. Can you tell me which base plate to get and all the necessary parts? Also which wiring kit do I need to wire the turn signals on the Jeep to my Motorhome? The Jeep has the stock bumper. Txs Looking to order now

For your 2015 Jeep Wrangler to use the Tow Defender # RM-4750, you will need the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521448-4. This combination will work well with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676.
Then you will need a wiring kit for your Jeep. I recommend the portions of the Roadmaster wiring kit # RM-15267 that aren't already integrated into your tow bar. These parts are female spade # RM-300115-00, 3 feet wire loom # 459075-1, 30 feet wire # 16-4B-1, Roadmaster Hy-Power Diodes (Qty 4) # RM-794, cable ties # DW05724-10, and ring terminal # DW05702-1. Then you want 6 way connector # HM48420.
For braking, use SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 which only requires adjustment at installation and then is a plug and play system that is extremely reliable. The # RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
Finally you may need a high low adapter. I've linked an article to assist with measurements and also linked the page to your options.
This is a lot of information and parts, so let me know if you have any further questions.
