Question:
I have a 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE, FWD. I am thinking of adding air bags to the rear suspention, such as the Air Lift 1000. We are towing a pop-up camper and the hitch is already very low on this vehicle. I have to back into our driveway very slowly and carefully so that the hitch doesnt hit the curb. Even without towing something, the hitch has rubbed a few times when leaving a parking lot for example. Im not sure which kit to purchase, can you recommend what would be best?

Hey Tyler,
For a 2016 Toyota Sienna you would need the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60732. These will mount inside of the rear coils springs and can be aired up to stiffen the springs and keep the van from sagging in the rear. I've attached a short video where we'll walk you through the installation. Having installed these before I've found it easier to try and fold the bellows 'hotdog' - style to keep it small but flexible enough to slip into coil springs. You can also lift the van by the frame and let the wheels hang to gain a bit more clearance.

Hey Tyler, how did things go with the Air Lift 1000 springs on your Sienna? Did they help reduce the rear sag and keep your hitch from scraping? Your update could make it easier for others towing with the same van.
