14,000-lb Capacity. Great for trucks with plows, these front hollow rubber springs help to stabilize and level your vehicle. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.

Specs:
Just like the rear of your vehicle will sag under the weight of a fully loaded bed, the front of your vehicle will sag when under the burden of heavy equipment such as a snowplow. In this case, the front axle is handling not only the weight of the equipment, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Overall vehicle handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above your front axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down so that the bottom of each spring touches the axle. Because each spring is making constant contact with the axle, it is always working to cushion and support your factory suspension.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's-side or passenger's-side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you're carrying off-center loads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System will help raise the front end of your vehicle when you're using heavy equipment like a snowplow. This ensures that your headlight beams will be pointed in the right direction and tire wear will be reduced. If the plow is off-center or has an extension, the springs will automatically compensate for this as well.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. More elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

14,000-lb Capacity. Great for trucks with plows, these front hollow rubber springs help to stabilize and level your vehicle. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.At first glance, they seem like over priced hunks of rubber. However, after installing them on my truck they are worth the money. I have a 2006 chevrolet silverado with a curtis 7.5' straight plow that is as old as the truck. The stock suspension bumps allowed for too much sag when the plow was on and raised. I didn't think to take a measurement of how much sag I had prior, but it was definitely noticable. The trucks natural front end height to the fender was 36-3/4". With the plow on and raised it only sagged to 35-1/4" (1-1/2" drop) which was barely noticeable in the cab. I would say prior to installing them, it probably dropped 3-4".
I haven't had to drive it on the main roads with the plow on yet, so can't say what the ride is like when the truck is under load. Will update my review after we get some snow and I have to go out and plow. Install was very easy, used a 3lb hammer to knock the old bump stops out. Then unbolted the shock to get more clearance to install the timbrens. Used a prybar to install the timbrens into the receiver cup. Total time was about an hour to install, (also inspected brakes and such while I had the tire off).
Here some pictures of the installation of the Timbren Front SES on my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab. It took longer to back off the top shock nut to drop the A-arm enough to get the bumper in than the actual install took. Some Windex on the bumper went a long way to get them in too. I got these for better ride height with my Snow-Way 26 plow I got last year. I had 4” above the front wheels (to body) and 15.5” under the plow when raised with stock bumpers. With the Timbren installed I have 5.5” above the front wheels and 20” under the plow now. I’ll see how it rides this week.
I install these on the 2017 Chevy express and on a 2005 Chevy express these things are incredible if I knew about them earlier I would've put them on a long time ago ,money well spent no need for airbags or compressor or self-leveling devices this is the answer, if you have a heavy load in your vehicle sometimes or all the time this is the answer.
Just installed these, front and back, on a 2013 Chevrolet Express AWD. It is a high top conversion by Explorer. Prior to install the van would nose dive at every touch of the brake pedal. And it would lean over on every turn of the wheel.
The hardest part of the install was jacking up the van. The rear was done with the wheels on. Puked on the old pick and they fell out. A little dish soap on the new ones. Put in place with a small chunk of 2x4 below them. Lowered the van and the went right in place. Jack it up and remove the boards. On the front I did remove the wheels. A little dish soap and gentle prying with a small pry bar and the fell right in place.
The difference in ride is night and day. And that’s a cold January night and a warm sunny July day. Wish I had you done this a long time ago!
Good so far front end more stable.. will get rears soon
My Timbren kit arrived quickly and was exactly as described. The fit on my '06 Sierra was perfect. Took me about an hour to install the fronts and an hour for the rears.
The timbrens levels out my truck and elminated poor handling I was experiencing with a heavy load in the bed of my truck. I'm carrying equipment weighing about 1200 lbs in the bed of my truck. I was down on the front bump stops and had less than 1" of clearance on the rear stops. The timbrens leveled the whole truck and easily handle the load.
I'm much happier with the ride and handling of my truck. It no longer rolls side to side through the corners and tracks normally on the freeway; even in high cross winds.
etrailer.com provided good customer service and I really apreciated the fast updates on the status of my order.
These are excellent bump stops! I have an 02 Yukon xl and my suspension was just about gone but after installing front and rear bump stops its like the truck just rolled off the essembly line. It's a tiny bit stiff but 100% stability improvement I highly recommend getting these I also have a 17' by 8' foot enclosed tandem trailer completely packed weighs 5 ton on the scale put it on the tounge took it for a spin without the wieght distribution bar and what do you know, no sag these are well worth the investment! Installation was a bit tricky on the rear had to pull some tricks out of my sleeve but once I got the first one on 1 hr later second one only took 10 minutes, front ones were a breeze twist and push didn't even have to take off the shock. Good luck and have fun!
Exceptionally easy to install. Less than 5 minute per side! I sntalled these by simply turning hte steering all the way from side to side while the vehicle was on a floor jack and did not even have to remove the wheels. Nice firm ride with no sag when operating the slowplow.
Great product! I had replaced the front shocks twice on my 2003 z71 Suburban with almost 200,000 miles trying to reduce a floating front end. The first time with mid grade Gabriels, then tried the Max Controls with little improvement. It literally took 15 minutes using a screw driver and a can of WD40 to install the Timbrens. And wow! The Suburban feels brand new! American made product that works exactly as described, you can't go wrong. Thank you Timbren!
The "bumpers" on the rear of my '05 Suburban were shot! These Timbren's are clearly superior to the OEM new replacements. They were a bit of a challenge to install, but I'm certainly happy with them. The heavy travel trailer I purchased recently pushes the limits on the Suburban, but these really made a difference (along with the WD hitch and the sway control.
My 2003 Tahoe was soft and bouncy in the rear and I had used these before on my Sequoia and they made a big difference in sagging as well cornering. The Tahoe was really bad ! When I swapped the stock bump stops for these the Tahoe became a different truck. It was so much better. I actually like driving it now.
One of the best upgrades I made for my truck. No more bottoming out . My work involves hauling and delivering steel ,heavy weight . I can honestly say that I have not bottomed out since the install and would recommend this item to any truck owner with a coil spring suspension.
Installation took less than 1 hour. I installed them on 2002 GMC Yukon with a snowplow. Returned the torsion bar settings to pre plow install. With these Timbren installed the vehicle squats less than 1 inch when the plow is raised. It used to squat 4+ inches when the plow was raised. Installed a set on my 2005 Chevy 2500 HD plow truck. Great product. They do what Timbrem said they would. Installation is easy.
Installation very simple, takes about 10 minutes total. If the truck is riding empty it feels like my 01 F250. I installed these on my 05 Yukon. Makes for a much stiffer ride. The reviews that say that the unloaded ride is unaffected are untrue. Does get rid of body roll and also helps with stopping. I should mention that before putting these on I had the Yukon in the garage for 2 months doing the entire front end and brakes all the way around. When I say the entire front end I mean every. single. part.
Just what my truck needed easy to install and not to bad when I got off road either.
No issues. Not to hard to install. Bought these cause my stock bump stops were rotten. It helps keep the front from taking hard nose dives if I hit a big hole out in the field
Worked as advertised. Put on the front of my plow truck and it carried the extra weight fine. Easy insulation, would definitely add rear support if the need arises.
Product was shipped in a timely manner. This was my third time ordering from etrailer will do so in the future. Instructions and videos are very helpful. I believe that by having instructional videos increases sales for the company tremendously. If a DIY person has the help and instructions they will order more products. Very satisfied with company so far.
These have made a nice change to my suspension. The bottom out was jarring before, and just feels dampened now. Dive is reduced under braking too. Ride is not harsh compared to how it was before adding them.
Just what my truck needed easy to install and not to bad when I got off road either.
Delivery was extremely quick and well packaged. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes. I don't know how well they work yet, but I'm excited to see the difference with the snow plow. The 1/2 ton truck struggled with a large plow and this should make a big difference.
Product worked amazing. Easy install just use a flat head to pry out the old ones and push in the new ones. Now I gotta do the rear of my 03 tahoe
I have purchased a couple sets of these for my vehicles and they are amazing. Very happy with the product and even happier with the service
Just finished the install and testing at a glance I would say the product is great very easy to install and helped with all things intended thanks.
GREAT PRODUCT .TIGHT FIT.

Its working great on my 2002 Chevy 1500. I use the truck for hunting and with all the back roads that are not maintained they really help with the ride.
