The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60769 which are a fit for a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban do not require the coil springs to be removed for installation. I will admit though, there are times were I thought it would be faster and easier to just remove the coil springs as these can sometimes be a bit tiresome to install but nonetheless, it's not required to remove the coil springs. That said, you will need to place a floor jack under the rear of the vehicle while working so you have enough space to slide the air bags in between the coils.
