Still works perfect after a year. Just keep a bit of grease on the gears.

Great still does the job. With the narrower winch spool, it cuts down the spool capacity but more than enough for my use.

Thanks for the great review and picture Daniel! Happy to hear things are working as the should. Dutton-Lainson doesn't offer a drill or electric motor attachment for this winch. While some people fabricate their own adapters, it's not something I'd recommend. A drill or motor can easily apply more speed and torque than the winch was designed for, which could damage the gears or create a safety hazard if the load gets away from you.
