For a spare tire on a trailer, you will want to use the same exact size tire if not the same exact brand and style. For your LT 215/85R16, I recommend a same diameter wheel because we don't carry that specific size. You of course will need to match your bolt pattern and have a pilot hole large enough to pass over your hub. Your current tires have a 30.38 inch outer diameter.
Some options are the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" White Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR E, # TTWA16RTK6WM which has a 30.79 inch outer diameter.
Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" White Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR E # TA39VR6 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" White mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR E, # TA76VR which has a 30.79 inch outer diameter.
The Provider 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire w/ 17-1/2" Silver Mod Wheel - Offset - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR H # TA95ZR with a 30.2 inch outer diameter.
These tires should only be used for emergencies and only until you can get a replacement of the correct tire to match the others. These are all nice radial options for a trailer. These tires should not be used on a vehicle.
I recommend the Classic Accessories Universal Fit Spare Tire Cover - Large 30"- 33" Black # 052963753875. This will protect the tire from rot and UV deterioration.
