This tail light is an exact replacement for the one that had the license plate tabs broken off. It fit perfect wires and all. I installed the new one in 30 minutes. In addition to that, E-trailer shipped the item right away. Thank you Alfred

Identical replacement. Worked perfect for broken license plate holder. Previous camper owner traded in their rig (now mine) on a new one at Camping World dealer. Guess it was too much effort to take their tag off properly so they broke the tabs that held the plate. Won't be dealing with them any more.

Product was a direct replacement for a factory light on my KZ travel trailer. I was lucky to find a direct replacement due to the license plate mount breaking after 4 years in the Florida sun. The tabs for the bolts became brittle due to UV deterioration, and, unlike some lights, the back plate with the light holder and wiring is a single plastic cast base, so it was either replace the entire fixture, or drill holes in the trailer to mount the license plate. The light works great but Ineould prefer a design, much like boat trailer lights, where the license mount is a separate plate underneath the actual light. For design I’d give Optronics a “C”, for function, I.e. brightness, aesthetics, ease of install etc. it’s an “A”.

Tag holder dry rotted again and broke off. I just ordered and replaced it again. Light works great, license plate holder needs to be metal instead of plastic.

I was so excited to receive the tail light assembly for my travel trailer. I had previously purchased an assemble from a local dealer where I was camping and it was the wrong one. When I got home I called my dealer where I purchase my camper and again the wrong one. Because you showed how to measure the light it made it simple to receive the correct light. I like that this an exact replacement for the original, it fit perfectly. These lights are of decent quality but the original didn't fair well after 5 years in the suns UV rays and broke when trying to remove lens to replace bulb. Also these only have rectangular holes for the license plate, no nut inserts of any kind. Etrailer shipping was lighting fast and you cannot beat the price!

Product was delivered kind of slow i thought and one of the tabs that holds the light cover on was broke off so for it to work i had to glue one end of the cover to the base plate to hold it on as i needed thd tail light in order to pull my camper but if i need anything i will give you folk another try. i never rate a company on lne orded

This product was an exact replacement for my original OEM tail light. Shipping was quick and no issues! The reason the light was replaced was because the license plate tabs broke off.

They've been on a year and are still working well. Brighter than incandescent. Etrailer website extensive information (pictures, dimensions, demos, etc) helped me find the the exact match I needed. Install was easy. Hardest part was trying to do a neat job of sealing. I used a clear sealant, so it's not that bad.

- Dim Trailer Taillight Possibly Caused by Poor Ground ConnectionIt certainly sounds as if you're getting an insufficient ground connection. I would definitely take a dime sized area around the hole for the ground screw down to bare metal, then install a star washer between the frame and the ring terminal on the ground wire. When the screw it tightened down, the star washer will bite into the trailer frame, ensuring a bullet proof ground connection.
