Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Highly recommended. Easy Installation.

fast shipping---Thank You

by:

Fantastic shipping, fits like a glove.

Trailer HitchThe Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch met my expectations. It is truly a hidden hitch. The fit was perfect but the installation took longer than expected due to the limited space available. It was difficult to get the bolts started. The electrical harness installation was easy. I followed the instructions provided by the video rather than those enclosed with the harness. There is no need to take the whole trunk bed apart.

by:

Fine hitch arrived very quickly!

by:

by:

I just received my Draw-Tite hitch and it looks great. I can't wait to install it to bad it's below zero out today. The delivery was real fast. Thanks again Dick

by:

Great productWas easy to install, just couldn't get last bolt into the final hole, but beside that, my wife and I did it and really didn't have any problems.

by:

The produce is great . The holes lined up and it took about 20 minutes to install. The only thing i would advise is to run the bolts into the holes in the SUV first to clean the holes from road grime.

by:

We are very pleased with the Hitch. It was easy to mount and it works well. Good product.

by:

Exactly as described, packaging could have been better. Would have helped more if there had been a check list of needed parts and their sizes. Assembly was by the book.

by:

It was a pleasure to deal with a company that goes through the extra effort and professionalism to get a product to the customer in a timely manner. I will recommend you to everyone I know.. Thank you for your followup. Len

by:

Installed as described. When they said the space is tight, they meant it. The trick of pulling the mufflers together really made a difference. Still rather easy for a non mechanically inclined guy like myself.

by:

very pleased with the product Have not tried the hitch yet , but the fit and easy install are excelent.

  • Bolt Size and Thread Pitch of Attachment Hardware for Draw-Tite Class III Hitch # 75471
The bolts included with the Draw-Tite Class III # 75471 Hitch are Class 10.9. They're 10mm in diameter, 30mm long and have a 1.25 thread pitch. If you're needing replacement installation hardware, we can supply a replacement hardware kit for you. You'd use part # RHK, and on the product description page you're taken to, you'd input 87414 for the hitch part number and Hidden Hitch as the name of the manufacturer (as shown in the diagram I provided.) • Can the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Transport a Motorcycle
G, no, that's too much weight for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75492. The max tongue weight on this hitch is rated for 600 lbs, so with the bike alone you'd be overloading the hitch, not accounting for the carrier weight. With the motorcycle weighing so much, I think you'd be better off trailering it and transporting it that way.

  • How Do I Tell if My Hyundai Santa Fe Has a Tow Package?
A tow package for your 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe could be a frame mounted trailer hitch and trailer wiring harness. If you have either or both of those two things you could pretty easily assume you have the tow package. Another option you have is to take the VIN of your vehicle to a Hyundai dealer and they will be able to tell you. If you end up having the tow package but do not have a hitch the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75471 that you looked at would be a great option....

  • Can 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Without Trailer Tow Package Tow a Camper?
You can tow with a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe, though according to the owner's manual, without the towing package you have a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 lbs. In order to tow with your Santa Fe, you would need a hitch, and I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75471, which has a bolt-on installation so no welding is going to be required. You would also need wiring to add a 4-way connector, the T-One Harness # 118415. I also checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit for 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
There are a pair of trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75471 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13538. These two hitches are similar in a lot of ways, but between the two I recommend going with the Curt hitch because it has both the best ground clearance and bumper clearance. This will give your '09 Santa Fe a sturdy, Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and won't require any type of drilling into your Hyundai's frame...

The trailer hitch that I recommend for you to use on your 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75471. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening which will allow you to carry a wide variety of accessories. I have attached a video of this hitch being installed on a 2008 Santa Fe that you can use as a reference. A great bike rack option for carrying 2 bikes is the Kuat Sherpa. • Hitch for 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe That Wont Interfere w/ Full-Sized Spare Tire
All the hitches offered for your vehicle will interfere with the spare to a small degree, but the spare tire will still fit. I was told that the Draw-Tite # 75471 and the Curt # 13538 are all compatible with 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe models equipped with the spare tire. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver, Wiring, and Ball Mount for 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75471 is a confirmed fit and an excellent choice for your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. It does not come with a ball mount or with wiring for trailer connection. For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118415.
