Question:
Hello, I am wondering if this hitch will work for towing a 6x12 trailer with my 2009 hyundai santa fe GLS, also what other parts I should order for the complete install. Hoping you all carry everything. Thank you

We do carry all the parts you need to tow your trailer with your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75471, which has a 3,500 lb towing capacity and 525 lb tongue weight capacity will absolutely work for you to tow a trailer, including your 6' x 12' trailer. I have added a link to a video install of this hitch on a Santa Fe for you to take a look at.
Another part you will need in order to tow a trailer is a wiring harness, which will give your Santa Fe a 4-flat connector; I assume your '09 Santa Fe does not have the factory tow package, because if it did you would already have a wiring harness, so you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118415. I have added a link to a video install of this harness on an '09 Santa Fe so you can see exactly how to install it on yours.
If you did have the factory tow package and needed a replacement 4-way the correct part is Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 118258. For either of these harnesses I strongly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector; using it will increase your 4-way's durability and extend its lifespan.
Finally, you will need a ball mount and hitch ball to connect your trailer coupler to your vehicle. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop – along with a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise. If it is not, I have also added a link to our selection of ball mounts that fit a 2" hitch for you.
