This hitch is built for real towing. Rated for 8,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 800 lbs tongue weight, it handles small campers, boats, and utility trailers with ease. The 2" x 2" receiver opening is the standard size most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers are built for. The hitch has held up very well and still looks like new after one year. I have had no problems towing our 5,900lb boat at any time. The wiring kit has not failed me at any time and is still working. Thanks for the one year follow up - I never heard of anyone actually doing that - great idea.

Glad to hear it fit, Russell! Since you said to use the supplied bolts, were there already factory bolts in the frame? Or do you mean the bolts from a factory hitch you removed?
