The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31061 is designed to match up with existing mounting holes in the frame of a 4WD Titan but these same holes don't exist for the 2WD.   I spoke to Curt and they informed me that you would either need to remove or cut into the skid plate for the hitch to mount properly on the Pro-4X model. Also its important to note that modification is up to the installer. It may be easier to remove the skid plate completely, since it would need excessive modifications to work.

  I spoke with my contact at Curt and they verified that the Curt Front Hitch, part # C31061, is designed to only fit the 4WD model of the 2011 Nissan Titan. He did say it would line up to the frame of the 2WD model, but he said the 2WD model does not have the holes or existing weld nuts on the frame for the hitch to attach to, so it is not recommended.   We do indeed offer a front mounted receiver for your 2011 Nissan Titan. I'd recommend the Curt # C31061. The # 31198 front receiver you'd looked at is a fit for certain Toyota SUV's and Tundra truck models, so it wouldn't fit your Titan.
