When you’re pulling serious weight, this 17-1/2" x 6-3/4" steel wheel delivers the backbone you need. It’s rated for 6,005 lbs and uses an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern with a hub-piloted design that centers perfectly on the hub for a solid, balanced ride. The flange nuts (sold separately) keep it locked in place so you can tow with real confidence mile after mile.
Rust is no match for the finish on this wheel. It goes through a zinc phosphate bath, then gets e-coated with an acrylic primer before being baked with DuPont silver powder paint on both sides. That triple-layer treatment seals out moisture and road grime so the wheel stays looking sharp and fights corrosion for the long haul.
The solid-center steel build gives this wheel serious strength and durability under load. It’s designed for tough jobs and long-term reliability, meeting SAE J1204 standards. Each one comes with a metal valve stem already in place, ready for mounting without extra parts or hassle.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Taskmaster 17 1/2 inch by 6 3/4 inch silver solid center wheel with an offset. Has an eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is a heavy duty steel wheel. You can see it has the solid center design. It's very sturdy and corrosion resistant.
This is designed for use on trucks, buses, and trailers. Now the finish on this, they use a three step finishing process, which include first a zinc phosphate bath, then an eco primer, and then they put a nice silver powder coat on both sides of the wheel. Now this wheel is a hub piloted wheel. That means it'll require an exact fit on the center hole of your hub. The pilot hole here will match that exactly.
The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.76 inches and on hub piloted wheels, because they center on your hole on the hub, the lug nuts you use on these are flange nuts. And the flange nuts, we do sell separately. They use a flange nut size of 5/8 inch by 18 size, and we sell 'em separately. The part number is 95188. Now this wheel does have a negative offset of 0.31 inches and the negative offset will move the tire wheel away from the center line of the trailer.
If you notice on here, it does include installed right here. A high pressure metal valve stem is included. Now this wheel will meet the SAE J1204 standards. A few dimensions on this wheel, the diameter which we'll measure, diameter on the wheel is always measured inside to inside. So if we get our tape measure, and if we go all the way across and we will see there's your 17 1/2 inch diameter.
The width will be the same way. It's measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So if we put a ruler on that, be here 6 3/4 inches wide. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is that eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs. It's pretty easy because the lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any one of these holes, let's say this one, and measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. On this, it'll measure 6 1/2 inches. So that means this is an eight lugs, 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And the weight capacity on this wheel is 6,005 pounds. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Taskmaster 17 1/2 inch by 6 3/4 inch silver solid center wheel with an offset.
