When you want more versatility from your ride without changing its look, this custom-fit Curt hitch delivers. It has a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening and is rated as a Class I hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. The round-tube design sits cleanly under the bumper for a tidy, integrated appearance. It’s sturdy enough for light-duty towing, small cargo carriers, or a bike rack for two bikes—all while keeping that factory finish.
This hitch is built for DIY installation. It uses a bolt-on design with no welding required and includes all the necessary mounting hardware. The precision, robotic welding ensures the mounting points line up correctly for an easier fit. You can install it right in your driveway with common tools and some patience. Once it’s on, the receiver is ready to handle accessories like ball mounts or cargo baskets without the need to modify your vehicle’s frame.
Built from fully welded steel and finished in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat, this hitch resists rust and road debris year after year. The durable construction maximizes strength where it counts and helps maintain a clean appearance even after extended use in rain or snow. Whether you’re towing a small trailer or adding storage capacity for travel, this Class I hitch stays solid and secure through the miles.

Do you have some detail images and did you need to cut the spoiler cover?

We have gotten this information out to the manufacturer to inform them about this batch of hitches to make sure no one else has this problem in the future.

Thanks for the contact, I love the hitch. It has held up wonderfully the last year, I was just thinking last night about the installation of it and how easy it had been compared to some of my other projects. Enclosing the tool to get the bolts to the correct location was fantastic. No rust on the hitch, and no issues at all. I work at a plant that makes boat trailers and have seen how rust can attack them, and looking at the hitch I am impressed.

Still doing just fine and looking great after a year of use and super salty roads!
