To start your 2012 Honda Accord will need a trailer hitch, if it doesn't already have one then I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11085. This hitch is a custom fit for your 2012 Honda Accord and uses the factory holes in your Accord's frame to bolt on with no drilling required.

For the trailer wiring harness I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118420. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk or mounted to the receiver hitch using mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18140.

From there the correct draw bar will be dependent on the height of your trailer tongue when level versus the height of your trailer hitch receiver tube. I've attached our help article on ball mount rise/drop to help walk you through determining the correct rise/drop needed to keep your DK2 Flatbed Trailer level. I've also attached our page of 1-1/4" hitch ball mounts to make it easier for you to quickly find the correct choice once you have determined the rise/drop needed.
