2015 Buick Enclave
I ordered a hitch kit, along with the wiring harness for my 2015 Buick Enclave. They arrived in 3 days with free shipping. I watched the installation video on YouTube twice. I but my car rear wheels on a set of ramps and the installation was complete in about 45 minutes. It was super-easy and EXACTLY as the video had shown. Rarely does a company exceed expectations so completely. Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. The quality of the hitch and wiring harness are great. The videos for both the hitch and the wiring harness installations were very well done and easy to follow. The hitch was a perfect fit on my vehicle, no adjustments, adapters, spacers, etc. Icing on the cake is that the factory trim plate covers the hitch when not in use, you can't even tell it's there. Arrived fast. This stow away hitch for my 2014 Buick Enclave went on with ease! The factory hitch cover in the rear fascia still goes on and you can’t see the hitch. The wire harness also was a direct plug and play. Absolutely zero complaints or issues from me.

Yes the curt trailer hitch reliever was easy to install as you said that it would be. I was pushed for time and had to do it at night in the cold weather, but it was done in time to pick-?? my uhaul to load and head to Pittsburgh the next day. Thank you for sending it out so soon. 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
Installation wasn't bad, and pretty much what the instructions said for a 2010 Traverse LS. The hardest part was probably chasing the rust out of the threads in the mounting holes since the road salt hadn't been kind to them and I bought it used. Lots of penetrating oil and going back and forth on the bolts to get them to thread in. I did need to grind the access holes slightly to get the heads of the mounting bolts through. I had better luck putting the spacers in place first, then threading the fish wire through the spacer and the mounting hole to pull the bolts in place. There's enough room to get the bolts past each other in the channel. Leave the fish wires attached to the bolts until the hitch is in place. Removing the muffler hangers will make it much easier to get to the mounting bolts on. All told, it took me probably 1.5 hours, but I was working by myself, and the first half hour was spent just getting the mounting holes clear.

I got my son to install the hitch and wiring for me. Everything fit perfectly and the bumper hitch cover on my 2015 Buick Enclave still fit fine. I am sending photos of the hitch installed and and wth the hitch cover hiding it.

2016 GMC Acadia
The trailer hitch mount was crushed in a violent 4 car pile up. The good news is that it absorb the crash and save my auto (brand new ) for extensive damage and protected my 3 granddaughters that were riding with me.

Install was very Easy, but I did need a second pair of hands. The hitch has performed flawlessy pulling trailers and attaching a 4 bike rack as well as a cargo carrier . No matter what I throw at it it just works.

2017 Buick Enclave
Received via UPS quickly and well packaged. Took me about 45 minutes to install, and was simple to do. I was fearful of having to fish the bolt, but it worked flawlessly with the included wire. My torque wrench wouldn’t fit in the furthest bolt (I only took one exhaust suspension off in each side), but I’m confident it’s to the specification with a normal long handled driver.

Hitch was very easy to install and fit perfect with most of it not showing. Directions were simple, easy to read and follow. I decided to trim the plastic panel and replace it around the receiver for a more finished look.

2010 Subaru Forester
Free shipping, you can't beat that for starters. Received my trailer hitch on time. Installed it the same day. Most of the comments from previous posts apply, at least the ones that don't boast it's a piece of cake. In the video the mechanic is working at an appropriate level which makes the install as easy as it looks. I used my floor ramps to back onto and worked on my back on the garage floor. The hardest part was just wrestling off the rubber hangars. Pry bar doesn't work as there is no good pry point. Lube up the free end, especially the "lock" or blocking end. I used a pry bar but pounded it with my rubber mallet until just enough of the rubber was past the end where I could then muscle it off. The next "easy" part was holding up the hitch to get a bolt in . That only took 10 minutes or so, nearly broke a rib as it fell several times on my chest. But I've done this before on my Subaru Forester so I knew it would get done, just with a different set of bruises and scratches. And it got done. The fascia fit back nicely so when I go to the Country Club no one would suspect I actually enjoy towing my rowboat to the bay instead of booking a flight to Antigua. Getting hold of the plug to install the 4 way connector took more than just what the instruction manual indicates. That part of the harness was fastened to the chassis and I wound up having to reach up and after several attempts was able to mate the harness extension . I had to remove several screws on the wheel well to open up access but once that's done it's just zip ties and squinting to see where the fuses and relays go. So if you see me out there at the spit don't tell anyone that a Buick Enclave was being used for such a utilitarian task. They're liable to revoke my Country Club membership.

2015 GMC Acadia
I have a new GMC Acadia 2012. The installation was easy and fast. We (I had a helper) installed the hitch even without lowering the car exhaust. It took around 15 minutes. The only tool needed was 19mm (or 3./4") wrench.

I have a question.... I was told that since we didnt get the tow package factory that we should not tow anything more than 2000 lbs.... do you know if this is true?

Check in the owners manual, there should be a section on towing that will outline capacities based on exact model and configuration. You can also contact GM headquarters with your VIN and they should be able to help you determine the towing capacity.

It arrived on Wednesday and by the end of the day I installed it and was ready for my weekend trip. Excellent product and easy to install with a little practice to be able to fish line for a couple bolts. Some threads may need to have rust scrubbed away for bolts to thread if vehicle is a few years old. This is just age of vehicle. The hitch is top notch.

- How to Fix Exhaust Rattle After Trailer Hitch InstallThis is a fairly common problem that has a fairly simple solution. What you will need to do is reposition the exhaust of your 2010 Chevy Traverse so that it is far enough away from the hitch that it will stop rattling against it. For more info on how to do this check out the help article and video I attached. Basically you will either have to bend the exhaust hangers slightly or use different length hangers.

- Solution for Exhaust Rattle After Installing Curt Hitch on 2015 Chevy TraverseExhaust rattling against a trailer hitch is a common occurrence but it is easily fixed. Exhaust pipes and mufflers hang on rubber isolators. The hangers can usually be manipulated to gain more clearance between the exhaust and the hitch.
