Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 springs provide full-time, first-class support for your truck. With this kit, you get a safer ride and simultaneously protect your vehicle from the strain that comes with constantly hauling heavy loads.

Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all four wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.

LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, two-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.

This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).

Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Along with a lifetime warranty that has no mileage restrictions, Air Lift offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Just install and use LoadLifter 5000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund. Now that's confidence.

Video Transcript for Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs Installation - 2014 Ford F-150

Today on our 2014 Ford F-150 we'll be installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, part number AL57200. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Springs will help you maintain the factory ride height when you have up to 5000 pounds of weight in the bed of your truck. You do not want to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit on your vehicle. When you have the airbags installed, they will help reduce tire wear on your vehicle and help maintain braking ability. When your vehicle is sitting level, your brakes work properly. They will also help maintain stability of your truck while you're driving down the road and help maintain your headlight aiming so you don't blind the vehicles coming to you. They have adjustable air pressures that range from five to 100 psi. All right, so here's what our air bag kit looks like installed on one side of our vehicle. We're on the passenger side here, for reference.

We are missing our heat shield. We have yet to install that, but we just wanted to give you an idea of what our airbag looks like once we have it all put together and bolted on to the vehicle. One nice thing about this Air Lift kit that we have here today is the fact that it will work with some versions of gooseneck hitches. As you can see, we have our brackets right here for our gooseneck hitch, and there's plenty of clearance between our upper frame bracket for our airbag that does not interfere with the gooseneck at all. Okay, we're gonna start off our installation by getting a couple measurements here of our truck at factory ride height with factory suspension and no weight in the bed just so we have a reference point to compare it to once we have weight in it and once we have the springs installed. So, through the center line of our rear wheel to our fender, we're right at 39.5", so we'll keep that in mind. We'll compare the front too.

We're right at 37.5" in the front. So we'll write these numbers down and we'll have them as a comparison. Now we're gonna put some weight in the bed of the truck and see what the numbers change to. Okay, now we have a fair amount of weight in the bed of our truck. We'll retake our measurements. So we've dropped down 3.5".

In the front we rose about an inch. Okay, with our airbags inflated up to about 65 psi, and our weight replaced back in the bed of our truck, we'll double check our measurements and see if we're at factory ride height again. We're sitting right at 39.5" in the rear, so we regained the distance that we'd lost when the weight was added, so our truck is now sitting like a factory suspension truck with no weight in the bed. Now our front is about 37.75", so it's very close to where it was before on a factory suspension with no weight added. Now we'll show you what it looks like on our test course. On the left side of your screen you will see what it's like going down the test course with a load with the factory suspension. As you notice, when we go over bumps how unstable it is and when we're going around corners, you can see how much body roll there is and how unstable it is as well.

On the right side of the screen you'll see what it looks like with the airbags installed. As you'll notice, there is much more stability around corners, less body roll, less jostling when we're going over bumps, and it provides a much smoother ride, also while maintaining our heavy load in the bed of our truck, giving us a factory-like ride, not knowing that the weight is back there. Okay, here's what our kit consists of. Right here is our heat shield, which will go for the passenger side. We have two clamps to attach it and the heat shield itself. Here's all of our frame bracketry that attaches our spring, our spring itself, our two cups that the springs sits into, our hardware to attach it all. We have our hose, which already has our fittings onto it to connect with, our attachment hardware for the hose, these will thread onto our fill fittings and we can use these to attach them on any flat surface on the vehicle we like. Most of the time we go by the license plate and the back bumper. We have a couple zip ties to help secure our air line tubing, and we have some heat sheeting here to go over our air line to help protect it by any place where it comes close to the exhaust. Now that we've gone over what's included, we'll show you how to install the driver side in our vehicle. Okay, we'll take our one bracket here, this is the lower bracket that wraps around our axle, we'll take this plate, stick it over the studs. We'll take two flat washers, install them and two nylon locknuts, tighten these down a little bit, and then we'll torque them to the amount specified in the instructions. Take our airbag, we'll flip it over where our air fitting is, we'll drop on one of our cups, we'll grab our bracket, slide it on over, take our flathead Allen bolts, thread those on in, snug these down, and we'll torque those to the amount specified in the instructions. Now we'll screw in our fitting. These you just screw down until the thread seal engage. Okay, that's good. Okay, now we can remove our factory bump stop right here. Just use a 13 millimeter socket. Okay, you can just set that aside. We will not be reinstalling these. You can keep them if you want to take your airbags off. Now we'll take our bracket here. You notice our bracket has an L on it, which means left. Left is always the driver's side. We'll slide it into position and we'll bolt it in place where the bump stop was using one of these bolts here and a flat washer. Get it started by hand a few turns. Okay. When we tighten it down, we want to make sure that it's as tight against the frame as possible. Then we'll torque it to spec. Now we'll bolt our air spring assembly up to our upper bracket using these carriage bolts here. We'll come up from the bottom. The bolt will go through our bracket in the frame. We'll have a flat washer on top and then a nylon locknut. You drop your washer on down, then your nylon locknut goes on, do the same for the front bolt, and we can tighten those bolts down to specification. Okay, the front bolt we can get our socket on fairly easily and tighten it up. This back bolt with this brake line and wiring harness in the way, it's a little bit more difficult, so we'll pry the wiring harness off the frame. That'll give us some clearance to get in there with our socket. All right, now that we have these tight, we can torque them to spec. We can re-clip our wiring harness back in the frame. Just push it in place. Okay, now we'll just slide our lower bracket in place on top of our axle that we preassembled. This part here will get sandwiched in between our u-bolts that hold our release spring to our rear axle, and this part here will sit right here, right next to this bracket for our brake lines and our ABS wires. Just come up to the front, raise the position, push up, and as you can see, it sits right up in there like it's supposed to. Okay, now we can drop down our long carriage bolts. On our driver's side, we're using the inner hole here. Now we'll take our clamp bar, place a flat washer onto it, and a nylon locknut. Now that we've tightened up a little bit, we'll torque them down to specs. Okay, now we'll slide our plate into place underneath our airbag, making sure our airbag sits in this recessed cup section of it, just like that. Now we'll take one of our short bolts, a lock washer, and a flat washer, and we will bolt our plate to our airbag assembly. Get that started and we'll get the second bolt in place too. Okay, now that we got all of our bolts started, we can tighten them down, and we'll torque them to the amount specified in the instructions. Now, if you have your vehicle frame raised off the ground a little bit, you can lower it back down. Now we'll take our heat shield, bend the tab in like this on both sides, and we'll go about half way and bend it like that. Now we can clamp our heat shield to our tailpipe. We're gonna put this on our tailpipe in a position where it will provide the most protection from the heat. Right about this area here seems to be the most important spot, so we'll bend it like so, kind of angle it in position as needed. Right about there will offer us the most protection. So we can clamp it in place using the provided hose clamps. We have our hose clamp here. As you can see, we've already undone it. Just slide it on to our exhaust, and we'll get it clamped back a little bit, just enough so it doesn't fall apart on us. Okay, we'll slide that up, do the same for the second one, slide that one up, take our heat shield, I'll snug them on up. Okay, now our heat shield's in place and it'll protect our airbag from any heat that may come from our exhaust. Now, this ABS wire here, as you can see, it's kind of close to chaffing up against our driver's side airbag. So what we're gonna do is, we're gonna secure it to these brake hoses here with a zip tie, just help pull it away from there and give us some extra clearance. Just like that'll be perfect. Now we'll cut off our extra zip tie. Okay, now we can start plumbing our air line to the back of our truck so we can fill up our airbags with air. You may notice that our air line tubing is shipped to us with both ends with our nipples attached so we can air up our air bags with the Schrader valves. Now, we will be installing a compressor later on in this vehicle, and our compressor's a single stage, which means you can't fill up each airbag independently. So, we're gonna cut one of these nipples off and use a T fitting and tie both airbags together with a T fitting and have one line running to the rear of our vehicle for the nipple. That way we can still fill them up manually if we have a compressor failure. I put a couple hose loom clamps up on our bottom bed support just so we have something to hold our air line tubing in place. We have those available for purchase on our website. I'm gonna take our air line with the end that we have cut off kind of above where our spare tire is, and go through two of these looms, and then come towards the back to our air bag on the driver's side, and I'll plug our line into the fitting on the air bag. These are push connect fittings. You just push the line in. You pull back on it and it's not going anywhere. If you need to release it, you just push down on the fitting and it will come off. Now we'll take our air line tubing here right above our spare tire holder, and we'll cut it right in the middle using our tubing cutter. I'll slide it in position and trim it, take our T fitting, push on our hose, pull that, make sure it's secure. Now we'll take the end of our tubing that doesn't have the fitting on it, go up through our spare tire opening again, through our loom clamp here, and this one here, and we'll go towards our passenger-side air bag. We'll take our sheath, slide it over the end of our tube, and we'll connect our passenger-side air bag now. We'll slide our sheath down so it protects our air line from the exhaust. Now with both of our air bags connected, we can now take our line, measure off about how much we're gonna need, and cut off the excess, and we'll plug it in to our T fitting just like so. Now our air bags are tied together and we'll have one line running to the back of the truck where we can inflate them. Okay, now we need to find a place to put our inflation valve. Again, since we're putting a compressor in this vehicle we're only gonna have one inflation valve. If you weren't and you wanted to air your bags up independently, you'd be drilling two holes, one for each air bag and you wouldn't have the T fitting. So I'm gonna go right here to the left of our license plate at the top of it. I've already verified that there's nothing behind it that we're gonna drill into. I want to drill a 5/16" hole. Now we'll screw one of our hex nuts onto our fittings, just down there, place a star washer onto it like so, come up from behind our bumper, place it through the hole, place a rubber washer on it, and a flat washer, and then another nut. Then we'll grab a socket and we'll tighten this front nut up. No need to go super tight on this. Just snug it up so it won't fall off. Okay, there's good. Now we have a nice, solid connection point to fill our airbags up with and we even have a valve cap that we can screw on to keep the elements out of it. Okay, now we'll take our air hose, go up and over our spare tire holder, and we'll pull it on towards that position. Right about here is where we're gonna need it. So we will trim up our excess hose, we'll plug it in to our T fitting right here, and now we have a single connection point to inflate both air bags. Okay, now we're gonna put a little bit of air in our system and check for leaks. Okay, we have about 35 pounds of air in our system now. I'll spray everything down, every fitting and connection, with some soapy water and check for the bubbles. If I see bubbles, that means we have a leak. Okay, now that we've verified that we have no leaks, we want to take air out of system, we can just press in on the Schrader valve and let air out. If I want to put air in, just hook it up like you would to your tire. You want to air it up in short bursts because these do air up really quickly and you don't want to over inflate the air bags. That completes our installation of the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, part number AL57200 on our 2014 Ford F-150.

High quality and heavy duty. Good instructions as well. Just got them installed yesterday on my 2009 F-150 crew cab with 6.5' box. I also have the B&W turnover gooseneck ball hitch and my main concern was still being able to mount these. Fit like a charm, no interference at all. I wish I would have purchased them sooner. Sometimes we haul loads that might be just a bit heavy for an F-150, but we are careful. These will certainly help. I have similar air bag type suspensions install on our other two work trucks and I love them. What I did was got myself a 1/4" compression tee and plumbed both air bags into one valve. That way, they air up evenly. It comes with everything to air up each bag separately but I prefer them to be the same. They cost about $6 at any hardware store. I mounted the single air fill valve near the drivers tail light inside the box facing forward. There is an opening where the tail light harness runs up and I followed that with the air valve. I drilled a hole and snaked a tie wire down and through some finagling I managed to get the valve out the hole and mounted. Looks good and is out of the way. Install took me about 5 hours from tools out to tools away, but I was not in a big hurry. I aired them up to 70 psi and drove home looking like a hot rod with the back kicked up. Checked the air pressure this morning and all is well. No leaks as far as I can tell. Highly recommended and a great price as well. 643462

I have had the air bags installed for over a year now. From the boat ramp, camper and dump trailer these things just work GREAT. I will add a set of these to every truck i owe from now on! So nice to be able to level you truck out regardless it being a large or small load. They truly give your truck a safer ride when towing! 526431

Came well packaged, all itsy bitsy parts accounted for. Says no drilling required but you will need a cutting wheel or hacksaw to cut a bolt off. Instructions are pretty good but pictures sometimes don't show exactly what you need to know. My favorite part 2 hrs install. We all know that means at least 4. One more hour and I'll be finished. 426268

Nice product and installation was pretty simple/straight forward. Had a fit issue with left side lower bag bracket sitting to tight to brake line mount on axle for me. Cut ear on mount and moved over .25" and got a good positive clearance. Happy with the product and put over 700 miles on towing the week after installation. 653526

About a year ago, I installed this on my 2013 Ram 1500 with the hemi. I pull an enclosed 6x12 trailer with my tools and equipment in it. The trailer has a heavy tongue weight and is driven in city traffic every day. This kit has saved my front tires from wearing any more than they did as well as how easy it is to adjust the height of the truck based on my current load. I recommend it. 295497

Have had the air bags installed for 3-4 weeks now. Love them! Huge difference in ride quality when hauling or towing heavy loads. My only criticism is in the design. The left side fit perfect and the bag is perfectly aligned vertically but the right side bag is canted slightly. Almost as if the bottom brackets holes are drilled slightly off. I called the company and was told that up to 15 degrees is acceptable. It just looks as though the bag may wear more but time will tell I guess. I would still recommend. Also looking at purchasing the compressor system to ensure the bags always have adequate pressure. 421216

The addition of the Air Lift is by far something I should have done years ago. I was short in time so I had my local Midas shop install them. They work so well. I only needed 20 lbs. of pressure to level the truck and trailer. On the road, the trailer rode better, braking felt better, and the up and down motion I disliked going over bumps is gone. Awesome product for safety while towing. 568497

Great product! Easy install. Tech Tip, On my 2018 F250 in order to install the driver side air bag unbolt the lower shock mounting bolt and swing shock up and out of the way. Have a 2018 28.5 Jayco fifth wheel 1400 LBS pin weight only need 10 psi to level the truck! Rides great! Thanks Again E Trailer 566616

Review from a similar Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 in Vehicle Suspension

Installed this kit a month ago and used it three times pulling my travel trailer. Works as described and has performed as I expected it to. I have a GMC 1500 and no matter if I have my travel trailer with a 600lb tongue weight or 6'x10' single axle trailer with a 160lb tongue weight, with load of course, my truck would squat in the back. I already added a sway control/weight distribution system and now wanted to get my truck in the right configuration while pulling. For safety and performance. After reading a lot of reviews I chose this kit. This kit was easy to install but did take 3 or 4 hours. I wasn't in a rush and wanted to make sure I followed everything in the instructions and not miss anything. I didn't want to rush through it to miss a critical step and then lose brake fluid due to a hole in a brake line. Mainly didn't want to break anything important nor did I want to puncture the air lifts or the poly lines. Kit went on as expected and fit perfectly. The instructions included pictures and examples to follow that illustrate how everything fits and where everything should be routed. I would definitely buy again. 589432

This was an airbag install that took me about 4 hours. I did this in my garage with a minimum of tools. I did end up about an inch higher bed height even with empty airbags and no weight on the vehicle but this may come down with use. The shipping from etrailer was fast and the sales agents have firm grasp of their products and installation procedures. I can always get a straight answer from them. I also ordered the curt under bed gooseneck hitch. This took me about 8 hours to install but I was in no hurry and wanted it done right. Thanks etrailer for great service. 491845

The Airlift airbags I installed on my 2015 Ford F-150 were easy to install and everything fit as described. I have made several purchases from etrailer.com and am very satisfied with the products they sell and the speed in delivery. 211609

One year later I still like these airbags. My truck rides level and handles smoothly. Without a load, however, its stiff in back and bounces, even with the airbags deflated.

The product was delivered in a perfect condition and as scheduled. Very simple installation for 2016 Ford F150. The Ride with 5 lbs is better than the factory ride. I thought it would be a rough based on what others said. The rear height did get raised by 1/2" at 5 lbs. With a good bicycle pump it took 4 pumps to get to 20 lbs., that's much better than getting out the the compressor. 485152

The product arrive in a timely matter as with everything that I have purchased from e-trailer , the only problem I had was there were some lock nuts missing from the package , 2 pouches were opened when I opened the box , [ this was from the factory not e-trailer fought ] the photo's in the installation booklet could have been a little clearer , my truck has sway bars and none of the photo's showed them that I could see and the installation book didn't talk about them , Had to figure it out on my own . Other than that no problems , took about 4 hours to install , a 4 point drive on lift would be a great help , also remove the spare tire , it helps 513733

Previously installed Firestone air helper springs in my Ford F250. Wish I would have ordered them instead of the Air Lift helper springs. While quality of Air Lift appears to be good, installation compared to installing the Firestone system is a real bear. Firestone easily as good quality and much simpler/easier to install. 99455

Review from a similar Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 in Vehicle Suspension

I haul a 8' truck camper that pops up, it has a app. 1400 # weight to it. I also pull a 17' Lund boat that is loaded with my 2011 Dodge 1500. When I first put the truck camper on the truck before installation of the air bags, my truck squatted 6", basically it bottomed out. But when I put the air bags on, WOW, what a difference it made. Now when I travel down the road, there is no more swaying, or bouncing like it use to do on my Chevey that I use to haul it all with without any air bags. But now I see Dodge these are put on all their trucks. I am SO HAPPY I purchased these, & would recommend them to anyone. I told my neighbor about them & he put a set on his F2500, to pull his 31' 5th wheel, & he loves them. I was 65yrs. young when I purchased & installed these Air Bags, & was a welder for 45yrs.. nut if you have any doubts weather you can put them on. Well relax the video that shows you how to put them on when you purchased them makes it a breeze. I hope this easess your mind if you are in doubt about making the purchase. And the price I believe was more than fare. Good Luck to All, And May GOD RICHLY BLESS ALL WHO CALL ON HIS NAME. 345917

Review from a similar Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 in Vehicle Suspension

I ordered the Air Lift 5000 from etrailer and I was very pleased with doing business with them. I normally order parts from someplace else but I will be using etrailer for all my future needs. The part was delivered on time and etrailer helped me make the right choice for my needs. Helpful, knowledgeable, timely, and provided the right part for the job; 5 stars from me for that. Now onto the Air Lift 5000. I was amazed at how detailed the instructions were. They made it extremely easy to follow the instructions while building the assemblies. Probably one of the easiest part assemblies I have ever put on a truck and definitely the most detailed instructions I have ever seen. Everything bolted directly to stock mounts on the frame and no drilling was required. After getting everything mounted to the truck and installing the air lines, I was a little skeptical about the air line connections and I was afraid of leaks. I filled both air lines to 60 PSI after the install and when I checked the pressure this morning, I was still at 60 PSI. The last thing I will cover is the ride. I have not towed my trailer yet but I am excited for when I do. I dropped the air pressure to 7 PSI this morning and took a 30 mile drive. The difference this part has made is unbelievable. It still rides like a truck but it is much stiffer in the back now when driving on rough roads which adds a huge difference to the ride quality. I can only imagine the difference I will experience when towing my 12k trailer. Overall, I could not be more happy with my purchase. etrailer has 5 star customer service and they sold me a 5 star part. 484223

Review from a similar Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 in Vehicle Suspension

Finished the install last weekend fairly smoothly. I jacked up one side of the truck at a time since I only had one jack. Had to put the jack on cinder blocks to get it high enough to engage the leaf spring front mount. One comment/suggestion for the installation guide. The only thing I struggled with was the parking brake cable. It was exactly in the way of engaging the bottom bracket to the axle. No matter how I moved the bracket it would not clear the cable. Then the light came on, release the brake dummy! Once the brake was released there was plenty of room to engage the assembly onto the axle. Of course, I did put some chalks on the front tires to keep the truck from rolling while I was underneath... No leaks, and it seems to ride much smoother than before. Thanks for a great product, 104826

Comments

I still like the product but it seems to have a slow leak somewhere and will not hold air pressure for a week at the original setting. Guess I need to do a bubble leak test, just have not gotten to it. Other than that the product is great.

Review from a similar Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 in Vehicle Suspension

This Loadlifter worked excellent. Put a Lance camper at 2600 lbs. on my Ford F350 crewcab pickup. Despite the camper package option on my truck with extra rear leaf springs, it still pushed the bed end down and the hood side up in the air. Annoying side to side roll as well. The AirLift LoadLifter had very good instructions and was not difficult to install. Drilled five holes in the frame on each side to attach. Plenty of part options to make it a very good fit. Aired up the springs until the camper was perfectly level. Truck now drives level and considerably less side to side roll. This was well worth the price for the performance. 53242

Fast shipping and excellent customer service. Will continue to purchase from etrailer. Took about 8 hrs to install the kit. I'm sure that would have been faster for someone who has done it before but I took my time. The air bags work just as I wanted and the kit appears to be high quality materials. If you purchase a kit take your time installing as it's best to fit and refit a couple times on parts of the kit to ensure everything is going as laid out by the instructions. 72041

The air bags went in great, and pretty easy. I did not like the recommended location for the air valves. So I put them through the body panels to have them inside the back doors. They work great like that. I just put in a 7/16ā€ grommet in the panel to run the air line through the outside panel. Works great and easy to fill with air. 544314

I had this installed by my mechanic, he said no problems, basically just bolted in. I went to pick up my 30' travel trailer and I adjusted the pressure to 20psi before I hooked it up. Before the air springs there was a noticeable sag in the back of the truck with the trailer hitched. With just 20psi in the bags there was barely any sag at all, and the trailer pulled much better. Planning on a trip this weekend and I'll probably increase the pressure up to 30psi to see how that works. Very happy with this product, I wish I would have bought it years ago. 256010

Straight forward install. Allow 6+/- hours to get it right. DO read the instructions. Measure the clear height first and get the optional lift blocks if even close to 7" 338388

Comments

Product works very well. My F250 had the camper package with added helper spring. That increased the spacing and thus the need for the lift blocks. Before the blocks, I was breaking the air fitting off of the top of the bags. Air-Ride was awesome. Replaced the bags and sent additional fittings. I put a T in so they would inflate at the same pressure consistently.

First thing is e-trailer the best to buy from , hands down! Air lift 5000 not a great kit in my opinion . This is not my first air bag install , over 12 so far. Brackets look good , bags fit them good and hardware is ok. The problem is the upper bracket is 3/4k inch short of sitting against frame . Jounce cup is in the way , I tried to mock it up in place but hardware is to short . Jounce cup had to be removed for bracket to fit up to frame , it's welded on . This kit is not what I would average to install . I'll try a different manufacturer next time. 2009 chevy 1500 4x4 crew cab . 176164

I have a 2019 Nissan Titan XD with the 5.6 GAS motor. Wanted to do an Airlift suspension to provide a little support and get my headlights perfectly back to level when towing my travel trailer. No one makes an airbag kit for the gas XD, but after discussing it some with John H at etrailer, I decided to go with the kit for the diesel truck and see how things went. The kit for the diesel truck fit perfectly, except that there is an emissions component hung from a bracket on the driver's sign frame that prevents a direct install of the driver's side bag. My shop was able to install the kit with no trouble - they just had to bend the bracket with the small emissions component attached upwards for clearance. Everything else went in as designed. Great fit - can't wait to see it work under load. 669525

I have linked the above mentioned products to this page for your convenience.

You can add a compressor kit # AL25655 if you wish for more convenient control of bag pressure. I recommend adding one. The Firestone kits for your truck won't...
