Question:

What is the weight of the hitch by itself? I am wanting to find out the effort required to lift it into place. Are car ramps sufficient to lift the car enough to install the hitch?

The shipping weight of the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98863 is 30 lbs. Since this includes packaging the hitch itself weighs about 27 lbs.

When we installed the Curt # 13424 on a 2012 GMC Acadia (which you put in for the vehicle information) the exhaust did need to be lowered a little bit but I think that car ramps should give you enough clearance to install the etrailer.com trailer hitch as it installs the exact same way.
