How to Fix Exhaust Rattle After Trailer Hitch Install

Question:

Have you heard of this problem? Is there anything I can do to prevent this? If not I,m just gonna remove the hitch. The muffler hits the hitch when turning and hitting bumps sometimes. Thanks for your input

This is a fairly common problem that has a fairly simple solution. What you will need to do is reposition the exhaust of your 2010 Chevy Traverse so that it is far enough away from the hitch that it will stop rattling against it.

For more info on how to do this check out the help article and video I attached. Basically you will either have to bend the exhaust hangers slightly or use different length hangers.
